I heard a report last week that oil prices were coming down because production was up due to fewer hurricanes affecting offshore rigs.

This one doesn't affect me but for a lot of people it messes up high school football. For me it gets in the way of college football. I'd rather have a Tuesday night game over a Friday night game. I'm all for more football so it doesn't bother me.

If I were to buy one it would be a model like this. The football on Friday is the only thing I find really dumb. I kinda like the games in other countries.

Last time I looked a good side by side was $30,000. Used ones were $15k-$20k. I think they've come down more now. There's really not a whole lot to a gun so there really isn't a reason for them to be more expensive, unless you think they should be taxed more. I remember when I could buy a Marlin .22 at our local store for about $120. Now I think they are like $180. Still very affordable. The cost of ammo can really add up for a gun enthusiast though.

It is but it's most likely because they think they are cool. They could do the same thing with many other guns and that's why it doesn't matter. From what I have read, this kid's parents were divorced. The mother is a druggy. The FBI already knew about him being a threat. This checks off everything on the list of a focked up child who wants to hurt others.

Gray was investigated by police over threats to carry out a similar attack last year, the FBI said in a statement on Wednesday. The FBI interviewed Gray, then 13, and his father, who stated he had hunting guns but that his son did not have unsupervised access to them.

Are you suggesting that banning the AR-15 style of gun would eliminate school shootings?

It's not something I worry about daily but when it happens at another school I can't help but think about it. Last year in my wife's school they found out a student had a hit list.

I can't help but get bothered by this stuff. With both of my kids in school and my wife teaching, it scares me. It can happen anywhere.

Reports say there was a phone call this morning saying there were going to be shootings at 5 different schools. This was the first school listed.
