Tim thinks forgiving the loans will boost the economy because young people will spend on other things. I think they will use that money to pay off their massive credit card debt. Their spending will not change.

I'm sure most of you will find this guy annoying but I really enjoy watching his shows. He tears into morons who have gotten themselves into debt at an early age and tries to help them. I never knew the guy until I had to step in during a verbal argument he was having with my GM. I was the one that decided to give him a chance to pay us back $20k at a time and allowing him to still take product from us. He screwed me over though. He has now been sued and owes us that money, plus finance fees.

No. He's just a customer who's done business for a while and he made a poor business decision by ordering way too much product that he couldn't sell. We tried to work with him on making payments but he sucked at that. Then he got upset with us pursuing him so he decided to stop paying us at all.

Not paying what you owe always pisses me off. I have a customer that owes me over $300k.

There is a combination of things happening. More people are coming out because it has become more acceptable. There is also a percentage of young people who are doing it because they are confused or they just want the attention. It's the cool thing to do for some high schoolers.

Being biased one way or the other is not something I want to be.
