When I remember I bring some plastic milk crates I took from behind a grocery store that closed. Grabbed 10 of them as they are good for garage storage too.

Odd world we live in. I brought home groceries last week in my usual paper bags. My youngest daughter was standing with me putting stuff away. I asked her to save the paper bags so we can cut down on the plastic bags as they were the sturdy type when she said... "Almost everything you bought is in plastic" I looked and had a big Folgers plastic coffee container, 5 Gatorades in plastic, cottage cheese in plastic, milk in plastic. feta cheese in plastic, diet soda in plastic, just to name a few. I thought I am trying not to use the plastic bags when they seem to be the least of the plastic problem.

Grammys are voted on by people in the industry. A Grammy winner may not be totally popular but liked by fellow musicians. So, it is basically a private club award. Who votes on the nominations and awards? Only Recording Academy voting members can vote on Grammy winners. The Academy flaunts the fact that the voting committees are made up of a jury of a musician’s peers. What that means in practicality is that only musicians, engineers, lyricists, producers, and liner note writers are allowed to vote.

I get it, but so called "Great Art" and a football game halftime entertainment are not exactly a good mix. The masses who watch are drinking, having parties, eating food and talking about the first half and basically distracted. They are not concentrating and looking for symbolism. In a theatre where you are there for one reason, to see the artist. yes, it would be totally different. I would bet more than half the TV audience had no idea who Lamar is. As I stated before I am in the age group that listens to this music, that like Lamar..but I was just listening to the music while other were talking and grabbing food or whatever, I glanced at the TV to watch some dancing but really was not looking for anything. Everyone is different but I concentrate on every play during the Superbowl and we talk about it. At halftime I just want to hear some songs I like and have a drink. Really don`t want to try to try and dissect the hidden meanings of what the artist was trying to do. When Lady GaGa, Prince, Bruno Mars or whoever played, they bang out 15 minutes of their music for entertainment. That is what it is called. Halftime entertainment.

Middle aged Black people had no idea of the symbolism, and the younger blacks for sure had no idea what it was about. The black sport radio host I listen to said he does not listen to much of Lamar and did not know what the show was about until he read about after the game. So even if you like the music the symbolism missed the point at the time.

Jackson is a solid QB but his ceiling is regular seasons stats. After 7 seasons he is what he is. Lamar will put up good numbers, run the ball well and maybe get a first rd playoff win but had not played well in most playoff games. Is it because he has a low IQ? Who knows but 7 seasons is a good sample size.

They loved Lamar and the music. I like Lamars music but even that was tough to hear. The show missed the point as even the blacks had to be explained what it meant after the fact, and rightly so as it was a halftime show that nobody knew what it was about, not a 2 hour movie that you knew and had time to develop the story line.

I like Lamar but even most black people did not understand the show, if you have to explain it bit by bit to the masses and the people after the fact it missed the point. In fact most people still don`t know. Another big issue was the sound, you could not discern the lyrics, whoever did the sound system botched it big time, as it was garbled and made him sound bad. I knew some of his songs and it was difficult to hear and understand what he was rappin Kelce is probably retiring so welcome Taylor Swift next season.

Seems like BHM has petered out the last couple of years. In a couple more years it might just blend in with being a part of "history"

There is waste and corruption all over federal government. There is a good reason employees do not want to return to the office for the feds.
