  1. I recently went through the most up-to-date player's average draft positions and put together what I would select as my ideal redraft fantasy football team by selecting one player from each round. The full version with reasoning can be found here, but here's how it turned out. Curious to see what other people's teams would look like 1.04 - Christian McCaffrey, RB, Carolina 2.05 - Dalvin Cook, RB, Minnesota 3.04 - Keenan Allen, WR, Los Angeles Chargers 4.11 - Cooper Kupp, WR, Los Angeles Rams 5.09 - Calvin Ridley, WR, Atlanta 6.09 - Hunter Henry, TE, Los Angeles Chargers 7.05 - Drew Brees, QB, New Orleans 8.06 - Royce Freeman, RB, Denver 9.04 - Geronimo Allison, WR, Green Bay 10.05 - James Washington, WR, Pittsburgh 11.08 - Baltimore Ravens Defense 12.02 - Nyheim Hines, RB, Indianapolis 13.10 - Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco

The Ideal Redraft Fantasy Football Team

Ahh, I see we have a person who can predict the future and knows exactly how every single player in the NFL is going to perform in 2019. Thanks for your input

NFL Mock Draft - Version 2.0

Quick reactions: - Giants can go several ways at No. 2, don't think a guard is one of them - Agree there is a chance Barkley lasts until 7, and he's a great fit for TB - Miami passing on Baker Mayfield would cause an uproar by Dolphins fans - Titans landing Landry would be ideal - Patriots selecting Lamar Jackson would be the most Patriots thing ever We just finished our first version of a 1st-rd mock; here if you'd like to take a peak

That zero-RB strategy didn't last too long! Going WR-WR seems like it's only going to work if you catch a break or two on the waiver wire with RBs

  8. We recently previewed the offseason in the AFC South and discussed the Jaguars/their first-round pick in case anyone wants to take a listen! But I'm leaning offensive line for the Jags in the first round, especially with the extension for Bortles Receiver becomes a need if Robinson and Lee aren't re-signed, but I think they'll bring Robinson back & I'm not sure there will be a WR available at their current spot in the first round to garner that high of a selection

    Early Player Rankings

This would be based on passing TDs = 4 pts, rushing TDs = 6 pts, 10 rushing yards = 1 pt I feel Cam has a bit more value when rushing yards/TDs are worth more than your standard passing TDs

    Off-season Targets/Guys you are avoiding

I'd lean towards Jones as the lead back. Could turn to a true committee once again with Ty Montgomery once again. But if I had to say now, I'd think Jones and Williams will get most of the work on the ground and Montgomery will get a little more action in the pass game/change of pace guy

    Bucs release Doug Martin

Time to move on. Still upset at myself for thinking he'd be a sneaky pick in FF last year to plug in after suspension...

What do you do when football's over?

Man, I've spent the last two days starting my way too early 2018 fantasy football rankings. I usually start with fantasy rankings after the NFL Draft, but decided to switch it up this year and just make changes along the way

    Prop Bets

One of our bloggers recently did a Super Bowl Prop Bet Blog which got me thinking about my favorite prop bets each year during the big game. My favorites are: 1. Coin toss - you legit know if you won/loss before the game event starts! 2. Player to score first TD - tough to predict, but the payout is usually good no matter who you pick 3. First song played at halftime - I've actually hit this one a few times in recent years, so I've stuck with it! What's everyone else's favorites on Super Bowl Sunday?

    Dez Bryant?

Can be a WR2 if you go RB-heavy early. There's a chance his production can match his ADP since it will be at a career low. But like most others, I'm not confident in him - would let him be someone else's issue in 2018

    Off-season Targets/Guys you are avoiding

Think you might have to spend the second rounder on him. But if he's there in the third, I think you're pulling the trigger on him as soon as it's your pick

    Off-season Targets/Guys you are avoiding

Targeting: - Derrick Henry: more opportunity, low mileage - Mike Evans: take advantage of his down year, great candidate for double-digit TDs in 2018 Avoiding: - Mark Ingram: will be valued too high; won't finish top-5 in rush yards w/ double-digit TDs again in 2018 - T.Y. Hilton: this may change based on Luck's status, but not on my radar until completely comfortable with Luck's availability
  18. Been super busy during the football season, but finally back to the message board! But for this topic, the defense is stacked, Allen Robinson is a free agent, have the future at RB in Leonard Fournette, and if they decide to address QB - it's likely they'd do so in a trade or free agency rather than a first-round pick. Still too early for mock drafts since we haven't even entered the beginning of free agency, but the reasons listed above may be why you're seeing a RD1 WR
  19. Based on another podcast we recently did (found in signature if you want to see full thoughts), I was curious to see who everyone had on their radar in regards to second-year players when it comes to fantasy football? Here is a quick breakdown of some of the draft-worthy options and the categories I currently have them in: Studs: Zeke Elliott Michael Thomas Jordan Howard Over-valued: Rob Kelley Tyreek Hill Under-valued: Will Fuller Josh Doctson Hunter Henry Agree w/ADP: Paul Perkins Wendall Smallwood Tyler Boyd Dak Prescott Sterling Shepard Laquon Treadwell Derrick Henry Devontae Booker C.J. Prosise Corey Coleman

    Intriguing second-year player fantasy options

Well he finished second in the NFL in rushing yards as a rookie. And he's a projected top-10 RB that'll be drafted within the first couple of rounds, so I guess in some ways he is considered a stud. I'm not jumping out of my seat to grab him, but he's the main guy on a team that is pretty good at running the ball

    Intriguing second-year player fantasy options

Agreed. Henry has top 10 fantasy RB potential if Murray were to go down. The one thing I don't like about drafting Henry is the fact that you'll have to draft him like he's a starting RB because you're most likely going to have to start him based on where he's currently going. So while the potential is there, I feel like you can wait an additional three rounds and grab another RB who is in a time share who may end with around the same amount of FF points as Henry in the event Murray stays healthy all season. Hopefully that post makes sense!

    Intriguing second-year player fantasy options

I like him as a player who can help you win football games, as he definitely did last year by helping ignite a fairly lethargic offense. But I don't like the idea of drafting him as one of my top WR's. When you consider how important WR's are to your every week starting lineup, I have a really hard time giving a starting position to a WR who is paired with Alex Smith. Wasn't it just two years ago when KC receivers didn't score a touchdown for about an entire year? I don't want to all-out compare Hill to something like the Wildcat Offense, since that's not what he is, but having success with non-traditional players is something that hasn't been very sustainable in the NFL. So while I don't disagree with everything you've said, I do think people are very high on him and he will be over-valued in 2017.
  23. We recently finished part two of our rookie fantasy football rankings with this episode focusing on WR's and TE's. As with the QB's and RB's from last week, the lists below are those who will be drafted/potential waiver-wire additions as the year goes on, but I was just curious to see how everyone else was ranking these positions. Our podcast is found in the signature in case you want to hear the reasons behind the rankings as well. I look forward to seeing everyone's early rankings! WR: 1. C. Davis (Tenn) 2. M. Williams (LAC) 3. J. Ross (Cin) 4. Z. Jones (Buf) 5. C. Kupp (LAR) 6. C. Samuel (Car) 7. A. Stewart (NYJ) 8. J. Smith-Schuster 9. C. Henderson (Den) 10. T. Taylor (Tenn) 11. C. Godwin (TB) TE: 1. O. Howard (TB) 2. E. Engram (NYG) 3. D. Njoku (Cle) 4. J. Leggett (NYJ) 5. A. Shaheen (Chi) 6. J. Butt (Den)

Early Rookie WR & TE Fantasy Rankings

Definitely interesting to see how Doctson, Corey Coleman and Laquon Treadwell factor into fantasy football this season. All can still basically be compared to this year's rookie class due to injury/limited action. We're thinking about doing second-year fantasy football options on our next episode, so I have some additional studying to do before I comment on where I see them fitting in!

Early Rookie WR & TE Fantasy Rankings

I'm with you on John Ross because I think you'll get pretty solid production while his average draft position is in the 11th round compared to Davis (5th) and Williams (8th). Based on those ADP's, Ross is probably my favorite in terms of pure value
