If you are going to think that every move made in games and all the officiating is all geared towards gambling, then why do you even bother taking part in watching any of it? These NFL teams have security at their hotels that are up to date with criminals who they know are in crime groups around gambling who want to approach players and they have been caught and taken care of in many circumstances. Players and coaches and ball boys and equipment people and managers and everyone knows this. This was just discussed on NFL radio with Jim Miller and Pat Kerwin who have been involved with the league in many ways for many years. There are alerts and communications that go out to all players and all team employees and they watch out for what they are doing and who they are dealing with. Just take a break from sports and go enjoy something else. Will there be some tampering, yes.
