I'm betting against McCarthy. I don't rule anyone out, as it is the Bears, but they are actually interviewing 20 different guys for the job including Pete Carroll and a couple college coaches. I think they just want to hear what ideas all these guys have on how they would fix the culture of the team. I think the favorites are Johnson, Monken, Brady, at this point, but who knows? They can't even meet in person with Johnson, etc.. until after the teams are out of the playoffs or play in the superbowl.

They don't know that a run game is the QBs best friend. Washington was #3 in rushing and the Bears were #25. I don't know the number on first down rushes the Bears had, but it's probably like 38th in the league. Not even good enough to be mentioned as part of the other 31 teams. They don't realize that Caleb Williams had 3 OCs and 2 Head coaches in his rookie year in the league. Great stuff.
