It's been said because you know absolutely nothing about how the pay works for the different classifications of mail carriers nor do you know about the process of how things work when someone new joins vs. when they have been there for many years. Nor do you know anything about their pay raises, health insurance, OT or extra work. It differs between city and rural carriers for example. And it differs between regulars and assistants (who actually cover the regular's shifts when they are out and do other types of deliver tasks that regulars don't do) And don't go look it up on some reddit post telling you some angry person's experience because even those who have worked there for many years most likely don't know about all those things across all classifications.
