American settlers didn't go out and pick fights with indians. The indians attacked settlers ad nauseum until the settlers said "fock off", and fought back. Can you imagine, if the indians welcomed the new settlers and made peace with them, what this country would look like today? Quite different as far as population make up. And it could have developed somewhat differently from what the indians could have initially brought to the table.

And it will happen in the nfl. First thing's first. Get the people who know how to do it into a room, set up prototypes in certain team training camps. Tweak what needs to be tweaked. Use in the preseason. Then they will have test results to review and fix or will have identified a barrier that will prevent them from implementing this year, and pick up where they left off next year while whatever company is running the technology works on it in during season to fix the defects, then be ready for testing starting 2026 training camps all over again. They will find out by end of this summer, if they already don't know, what the biggest problems might be or not be.
