Once in my early 20s I waited tables in a high end steak house. I was in the kitchen early when it was slow and went behind the line and looked at this one object that was a hand sized rectangular object. Size of a scrub brush. What it did was when you put it on top of a piece of meat, you pushed down on it and it deployed about 100 thin sharp needle-like knives into the meat to break up the fat in it so when it cooked, it removed any toughness and made the fat cook nicely and delicious. I should get a bunch of those made in China and sell them at a huge profit marketing to illegals to help them enjoy the flavor of the dogs and cats they eat.
