Once when visiting DC my GF and I were heading out for dinner and called a cab. Outside our hotel, when the cab came, I misspoke and told him the address where we were going and the cabbie just said "No. Goodbye." And he left instantly. He was an Indian dude. A few seconds later I realized I gave the right address, but wrong quadrant of the city. We called another cab and after correcting my mistake on the quadrant, , he took us to the restaurant. I'm thankful that first cabbie took off so we weren't dropped off in DC hell.

I don't care who he is. I don't care at all There are assaults and robberies and murders going on all over this country in liberal run cities by the minute. I have been told by many liberals here to stop talking about the past. But there is a different standard for you all. You take minute little things from the past and never stop whining about them. And then you deny the riots of 2020, you say Obama shouldn't be looked into for election interference, crooked biden and his dirty kid is the past, killary and her servers are the past, etc. The least of all this was the jan 6 BS. And you all can't follow what you preach. You have no ground to stand on.

Romero-Hernandez, according to local media outlets, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado on the night of Aug. 3, before he left the road on Highway 1 and struck Maddox on his 2013 Kubota lawnmower on the northbound shoulder. Maddox was taken to the hospital with severe injuries where he later died. "This criminal illegal alien’s reckless decision to drink and drive killed an innocent man. The senseless tragedy should have never happened because Romero-Hernandez should have never been in our country," Assistant DHS Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told Fox News Digital in a statement. "Illegal aliens drinking and driving and killing American citizens happens far more often than the media wants you to know about. Just over the past two weeks, an illegal alien driving under the influence killed a mother and her 11-year-old daughter in New Jersey and two high school sweethearts in Wisconsin. Every death caused by an illegal alien is preventable."

That was kind of a thing too back then. I had a soon to be girlfriend back in the 80s give me a tape of some of her favorite songs that she thought I would like. Must have taken her at least a few hours to put that together back then. I have really fond memories of her and her family even today. If I still had that tape, I would buy a cassette player to keep those memories alive (I'm sure you can still buy them), I love my present, but I also love my past. It was good stuff. And a fun time.
