That's funny. You are so correct. I retired last year and got bored of not working. So I got interested into getting hired as a mail carrier since last November. I really took my time. Wanted to not travel weekly for work and not sit behind a computer screen anymore at client sites in other states. Went through all the shlt and now work as a rural carrier. RCA. Love it. No CCA for me as I don't need the heavy load. I don't want to work A LOT but am willing to work when they need it. They know I am not looking to be a regular and I will go in almost anytime they call. I work as hard as the regulars do (when I do get the calls scheduled to work) but I do see many of the people there have been working a million hours forever. I can appreciate the effort they put in. Oh hell, I've been working my whole life and I have noticed not everyone does the same when it comes to just working hard for a living. Love the post office in a way.
