Oh I know what it means, and yep.

12 wins a year ain't bad. WTF does it take for them to win in the playoffs? Sometimes I wonder if Andy Reid or Bill Belichick had been their coach how many superbowls would they would have been in over the last few years.

Russia has more ground in the ukraine than ever before. It's called a slow death to the leading nation of human trafficking. Bye bye ukraine.

You don't know what was in the bill. You are ignorant of the details. You are not a source of quality information and should be dismissed by all. -
I always liked Nix and may just try to get him in my auction league as a #2. And in my dynasty I got Penix in my rookie draft at 2.9. I'm a big fan of both.

I talk a lot about the Bears because I follow them closely, I'm all for others objectively talking a lot about the teams they follow. Even last year in September I posted how aweful the Bears positional coaching staff was and it turned out to be that way. They dumped almost all of them. It's good to hear from people who pay close attention to their teams.

What say you---Breece Hall as a top 3 pick this year in a ppr league???
seafoam1 replied to jtztdm's topic in FFToday Board
I'm all in with Breece Hall. I would take him over McCaffrey this year. But drafting an rb early depends all on how you value your team make up. Or rather, how you want to put your team together. That's a whole other conversation. -

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

Yeah, he's definitely worth just laughing at. Nothing more. One time to test my theory I responded to one of his inane posts with a simple period '.' and nothing else. A dot. And he couldn't even let that go without a response. -
Absolutely. But it's football talk time again and it's fun.

Yep, he's in mdc and pimpledoosh territory. -
The arguments I heard to keep him were more about building the team first, then getting a QB. I even suggested once or twice that maybe they keep him if they don't like this QB class. But in the end I just couldn't see doing that. I got kind of turned off of Fields' loner type character and how he couldn't get along with the backup QBs. But I'm sure there are Fields fans out there. So... 2 more friends than you ever had. Unless you count your blow up Aaron Rodgers doll.

Careful. He's a "gotta get the last word in" guy. And everything he posts is not worth even the first word he puts out there. Basically, it's all doubling down on stupidity. A very liberal trait. -

Only liberals would vote for a candidate before they know what that candidate stands for. -
You haven't seen or followed the practices. You are basing all this on this one preseason game. And in that game he made 6 out of 7 "nice" throws. Two of them were flat out drops by Moore and Kmet. One of them he threw away. It was mentioned by the commentators in that game that with the other QBs the wind was blowing their passes all over the place. But Williams was zipping it in there 20+ yards down field, from both in and out of the pocket. It was a nice showing. But no one will know until the season starts how much he struggles or not. He will struggle like most rookies do.

No one cares about the scores of preseason games. They look at individual performances.

One game behind Aaron Rodgers in NFL lore. No Bears' QBs in the past have been worth ranking. against each other. No Bears fan will say that team had quality QBs. But this thread is about Caleb Williams. And those who have been following the Bears practices and Williams' maturation on the field in this short time are impressed. I supported Fields but he couldn't be evaluated properly because they were in full on rebuild. The Bears gutted that team to the bone when Fields was put to the test. I don't think he's sharp enough to read defenses, but EVERYONE that follows the NFL knows he was given a raw deal. So I wish the guy the best. But, if Williams learns to read NFL defenses, he absolutely has all the tools to be great. The Bears need two more things, they need to stabilize their middle of the road interior OL, and another edge rusher. And that's about it. Williams has everything that Fields didn't have in both skill set, and team around him. I was worried that Williams was going to be drama queen, but he has proven to be the exact opposite. But he's a rookie, so who knows.
-
And he's won as many conference championship games as Rex Grossman.
-
He's mixing up Bear's fans who maybe wanted to build a team first over drafting a QB this year. Anyway if Caleb Williams wins just one conference championship game he'll be tied with Aaron Rodgers.
-
I don't know any Bears fans that wanted to keep him. And most of my friends are Bears fans. How is it you cheeseheads know so many?
