I was shocked to see today the Bears are actually ranked #24 if rushing offense and #28 in rushing defense. 8 teams worse in rush off? 4 teams worse in rush def? After watching 4 of their games, I would have thought those would have been #32 and #32. There are some really bad teams in the league, although, so far this year has been really good all around. NFL is getting even better at entertainment than ever. Just some great games from out of nowhere. It makes it tough on the betting community though.

Yesterday I was driving down a regular street. Side road type. and got to an intersection and had a stop sign while cross traffic didn't. To be able to drive into the intersection, cars in my spot have to pull way up because of the house on my left had a bush that blocks the view of the oncoming traffic from the left. If you are going through that section, you have to pull past the line of the stop sign but not into the street. Just close though. When I did that, some lady driving from the left, got pissed that I pulled up so far and she stopped her car right in front of me in the intersection to glare at me. She literally stopped, turned her head to the right, and shoved her chin forward because she was pissed I had pull up that far to see the traffic coming. She was screaming something. I saw veins popping I think. I laughed a little, waved at her, and cars behind her honked their horns telling her to focking go. Then she hit the gas. Some people are priceless.

I wonder if Allstate will cover it. Ouch.

I had a couple grapefruit IPAs Saturday. And I IPA'd myself out some years back while going to a bunch of breweries. Love grapefruit though.

Thing is, I remember when Rusty once said (under that user name), that he had created about 40-50 aliases all early on. He even said he gave some away to others who got the axe. I tend to think he has more than 40-50, i put them in the 4000-5000 range. The guy put a lot of work in there. He gets an A for effort.

I can see that. I lived in St. Pete at the time but have been to N.O. before and after all that, probably about a couple hundred times over the years. Probably the hardest part of working with Entergy post Katrina was working with all the people that were employees of the company and had known each other for years but hadn't been in contact. A month, or two, or three or more (can't recall how long) after Katrina we had to start removing temporary storm disaster processes and put it slowly all back together. I'll never forget the early meetings, post Katrina, I had to set up meetings with the client, and they were the first time most of the employees were on a call or in person together since before. It was so difficult to start the actual discussion of the topic at hand. Sometimes it would take me 30+ minutes or more before I would feel it was an ok point to step in and curb the stories coming from everyone back into the matter at hand. A couple of the people actually stayed at the superdome the whole time. One guy developed this terrible sounding cough at the time I worked with him, it never went away, at least until I changed clients a few years later. He was kind of an odd guy and other coworkers said they couldn't get him go to a doctor. Some of the superdome stories I heard at the time were freaking crazy.

Cool story. At that time I was a little busy helping Entergy in New Orleans, before during and after Katrina, keep their systems and processes from complete meltdown. Must have been a very enjoyable time for you and the other liberals on this site to be so entertained by the whole disaster.

It's focking true. I've lived in crappy cities before when I was looking to get ahead in life. Then when I got ahead, I preferred peace over aggressive drunk/high angry people who are looking to get something for nothing.
