Big year for QBs in the draft

I gave up on emotions about the Bears QB questions. I'll be a fan of Fields wherever he is, Bears or otherwise, but I just think Fields is a bit slow in the head on processing defenses. If Waldron can fix him, I'm all in. But all I can do is hope the Bears trade that 1st pick for a haul and draft a QB after that.
  2. Maybe they should introduce a bill that teaches people to not shlt in the streets. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/california-bill-would-require-new-cars-come-equipped-with-speed-limiting-device/ar-BB1hcHOL?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=3fa53dc5cc8e4e25b62057a3568dcf67&ei=8 The technology, if passed under the legislation, would prevent California drivers from going 10 mph or more over the posted speed limit in any given area. The bill would mandate that cars and trucks of the 2027 model year or later that are manufactured or sold in California be installed with speed governors. State senator Scott Wiener, a Democrat who represents San Francisco, introduced SB 961 on Wednesday to reduce the number of traffic deaths in the Bay Area and in California, the San Francisco Chronicle reported. “The tragic reality is that a lot of people are being severely injured or dying on our streets in San Francisco and throughout the country, and it’s getting worse,” Wiener told the Bay Area newspaper. “We have speed limits, and they exist for a reason. And it’s perfectly reasonable to say you can’t travel more than 10 miles over the speed limit,” he added. “That’s what this bill will do. It’s very reasonable, and it’s an idea whose time has come.” There were more than 4,400 motor-vehicle traffic fatalities in California in 2022, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. California was slightly behind Texas, which saw nearly 4,500 traffic deaths that year. The total number of traffic fatalities nationwide was 42,795, according to the NHTSA. The National Safety Council reported that speeding played a role in 29 percent of all traffic fatalities in the U.S. in 2021. Emergency vehicles, including ambulances and fire trucks, would be exempt from the speed-governor requirement. The California Highway Patrol, while not exempt, could obtain authorization from its commissioner to disable speed governors on their vehicles in certain circumstances, according to the bill. “The commissioner may, in the commissioner’s discretion, authorize the disabling of an intelligent speed limiter system in any vehicle if, based on the specialized usage of the vehicle, the disabling of the system is reasonable, practical, and would not pose a risk to public safety,” the bill’s text reads. The speed-governor requirement also states that trucks weighing more than 10,000 pounds must be equipped with side guards. That would prevent cars or bikes from being pulled under a large truck in a crash. Wiener introduced SB 961 as part of the larger SAFER California Streets legislative package, the other half of which requires the Golden State to make state-owned streets safer for pedestrians, cyclists, and bus riders. Under SB 960, the California Department of Transportation would be forced to improve the safety of such roads. “Combined, SB 960 & 961 will make California roads safer for all users & lead to fewer injuries & deaths on our roads,” Wiener posted on X. “All of these strategies — speed limiters, truck side guards, smart street designs — are proven safety strategies. It’s time for California to adopt them.” The proposal comes after California in 2022 mandated that all new cars and light trucks sold in the state must be zero-emission by 2035.

Big year for QBs in the draft

Rated by who though? I watched like 4 games this season of Williams. He was a mess. I'm no QB evaluater, but it also seems that people who've been in the NFL and RATING these QBs for years aren't either. It's a crapshoot. Trade back and take Bowers and Nix. If that fails then they won't be alone.

Yep. That's what you liberals say. It's definitely reassuring that it's the liberals who whine about me.

  11. They would hide behind your 17 year old dog's nutsack if they thought they could get away with something. I don't know if have a dog but whatever... It is disgusting how they change the meaning of words. Climate change has been here since the beginning of the Earth, but now the liberals have made it our enemy somehow.

Big year for QBs in the draft

Not a great year for QBs overall. In fact, it sucked. Fields may be the best of the group.

I Got Hit By A White Minivan On Jefferson Hwy

I was a consultant at Entergy when Katrina hit. Focking guys going out into the field to fix/check meters and stuff in the aftermath were finding dead bodies floating around in the streets.

Big year for QBs in the draft

All I wanted to do was start a football thread on the draft. But because I'm a Bears fan the packer fans want to boast about their ONE glorious SB win back whenever that was. Makes me like the Giants' fans more. And that hurts me to say.
