People should have the right to end their own lives. That would open the door to assisted suicide and people would no longer be cutting themselves in bathtubs for others to find. No more finding a loved one dead after they jumped out of a building or overdosing on drugs. It's barbaric that these holier than thou people are telling others what is good for them when they don't even know what the people are feeling. Give adults a chance to sign up for assisted suicide with a 1 year or so mandatory waiting period. If they don't change their mind or haven't already killed themselves, then let them be. The only change to that would be for people living with physical pain that can't be cured that gives them a net negative quality of life. Then they can go any time they choose. Make their time to say goodbye an easy one if that is what they want to do and choose to follow through with it.
