So their comeback TD play got called back and Andy Reid calls it an embarrassment on the league. What does he want? Should the refs stop calling penalties in the last few minutes of a game? If d-lineman jumped offside and the pass was incomplete, would the Chiefs have accepted the penalty?

You are so right. Even the Chiefs announcers pointed out how Mahomes baits "late hits" as he is running out of bounds by slowing up. He got a late hit call last week when he wasn't even out of bounds yet. I hope one day he gets knocked silly playing that game.

But that wasn't a sucky call. The problem is if the players and coaches are whiningg about valid calls and it' helps the league in NO WAY.

I heard some radio guy cry about it saying it didn't factor into the play. Since I've been watching the NFL, every player that is on the field is a factor in the play. Even if you just spread out wide to pull a defender away from where the ball is going is factoring in the play.

This isn't whining about questionable or phantom calls, it was cut and dry a penalty. The only thing they can offer up now is to say that some penalties should not be called at certain times of the game (against them). And that makes no sense. It's a penalty or it's not. If that pass had been incomplete, nobody would care. Just because they made a crazy play does not factor into the decision to call it or pick up the flag or not.

It's so funny how most ex players of Belichick say how when he was off camera he is such a personable funny guy. That dude just focked with the media to no end. Got to give him credit for his consistency while in the spot light. I hope when he retires he just becomes an outgoing, amiable guy in the media.
