  1. Here's an aside that makes my week so much better after that FF debacle I had this past weekend. Totally off topic but whatever. Think of Monte Python, "And now, for something completely different". Sorry about that, but I consider that FF therapy. I'm just forgetting about it for the next couple hours. Hawks may get beat but I somewhat expect it and don't care. I even bet on the Hawks because it's Bedard's first game ever in the NHL.

    Anyone own a Mazda CX?

Thanks. I never had a touch screen in my cars but had them in rentals plenty of times. This one has a 7" display. Not sure if that is considered small or if it's touch screen or not. I like the knob as well though as Gutter mentioned above. As far as the radio I'm pretty stuck in my presets on XM radio. 4 or 5 specific music stations 4 sports stations, and maybe the comedy channel or whatever. I'll have to take a look at their navigation system to see if I want it as it's an add on for the car I'm looking at I think. Toyotas are always in the picture so I may take a test drive but I like the dimensions of the Mazda CX50 at this point along with the 256 horsepower turbo engine. Of all things though, I have my Wrangler in the shop for an oil change and a couple warning lights. Seems the airbag behind the steering wheel needs a new spring and some check engine code that is even cryptic for mechanics is on. I told the guy, who I've known for years now, that I'm going to probably sell the car (if I don't keep it as a second car that is) and all I want to do is make it safe. Nothing extra at this point. The Wrangler has been awesome til it hit about 140,000. Then it has needed a lot of work.

    War in Israel

Go figure. Ilhan Omar condemns Israel’s military response to Hamas Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., attacked Israel's response to an unprecedented assault by Hamas in an extensive thread on social media Monday. Omar, a longtime critic of Israel and advocate for Palestinians, seemed to equate the Israeli victims killed by Hamas terrorists this weekend and Palestinians killed in the ongoing Israeli response. "Just as we honor the humanity of the hundreds of innocent Israeli civilians and 9 Americans who were killed this weekend, we must honor the humanity of the innocent Palestinian civilians who have been killed and whose lives are upended," she wrote. Omar went on to highlight the hardships of living in Gaza, accusing Israel of operating an "apartheid" state in an attempt to explain violence by Hamas. "Palestinian residents of the West Bank have scarcely better lives than Gazans — with the routine destruction of their ancestral homes, destruction of their crops, and violent attacks by Israeli settlers," Omar wrote on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter. Omar's office did not respond to questions from Fox News Digital asking her to elaborate on the thread. The congresswoman did not clarify how she believed Israel should have responded to Saturday's attack, which has since left at least 1,000 Israelis dead and 2,700 more wounded. The Minnesota Democrat's only suggestion for a "solution to this horror" was "a negotiated peace — with Israelis and Palestinians enjoying equal rights and security guarantees." https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ilhan-omar-condemns-israels-military-response-hamas-solution-negotiated-peace

I'll probably test drive a Rav 4 but I think it's bigger than I need these days.
  7. Well, you gave a "shet" enough to inject yourself into the conversation. Wish you hadn't cause it's annoying to chat with the TDS inflicted, but whatever...

Arizona is tanking this year for sure

Teams tear down to get ready to build up. That's a form of tanking. Bears did it last year. People use the tanking word because the teams want to start over and you can't ask the players to not play hard so you sell off your big name players to get the most draft capital out of it and it just so happens that when you tear down your team is more likely to lose. So the word tanking isn't that all the players lose on purpose, it's the coaching and management that trigger the tanking. And I have no issues when they do that. From a fantasy perspective In my superflex dynasty league, I lost Watson to suspension for a long time and no chance I could win with only one QB at the time. So I sold off my skilled older quality players (the likes of Keenan Allen, etc) to those who were in competition for the playoffs for first and second round rookie draft picks. Got me players like Breece Hall, Anthony Richardson, Zay Flowers, Sam LaPorta and some other guys I'm forgetting at the moment. That's not that too far fetched of a comparison to the NFL. If you know you are 3 years away from competing for a championship and you have a $20M dollar stud DE on your roster under contract for 2 more years, what's the point of keeping him instead of getting a first round pick for him?
  9. So what? Hussein is not a nickname. I was not talking about Trump, that other dude said it's not right to say Hussein because it incites people, or whatever he said (last page before this one). And I understand you think that "Jizzwad" is Trump's middle name. That is what TDS does to the liberal mind. TDS is real. I get it. I've understood that about liberals for quite few years now.

    Cowgirls sign Crapppernick

C'mon. Did you just make that up?

    Cowgirls sign Crapppernick

When Jones likes his guy, he really likes his guy. I'm guessing that was all Jerry Jones?
  12. Hussein Obama is not a nickname. And that was the topic being discussed. Not sure why Trump needed to be brought into that part of it.
  13. Dude wanted to close the borders to people coming in during a pandemic. He was called a xenophobe by many in the liberal government.

    Cowgirls sign Crapppernick

Ezekiel Elliott signed a 6 year, $90,000,000 contract with the Dallas Cowboys, including a $7,500,000 signing bonus, $50,052,137 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $15,000,000.

I wish this nation had a segregation wall instead of just blurred inner city district lines. It would be nice to have a wall around California as well. Don't let any of them out to vote for what they voted for that ruined that state.

Week 6 Thursday night under over

Now that would be something to watch. That would sure stir the loins of Thursday night football.

Week 6 Thursday night under over

I could see this. Chiefs just running all night. 8 minute drives for the score. Before you know it's 7-0 after the first quarter. I was shocked by how flat Washington came out against the Bears, but I don't think KC would come out flat. Just a guess on my part. And as far as Washington was concerned, it was their defense that was flat.
  20. Or Barack Hussein Obama. Does his name offend you? Why are you so wanting to hide it?

MNF Discussion: Packers at Raiders - Wk5

5 I would be shocked. 2 or 3 possibly. I heard one of their local radio shows yesterday with a couple guys who cover the team and they are talking about possibilities of them blowing up the team to get draft picks for a couple of their valuable players that most likely won't be around when it does come their time for winning. And sure that's just all talk but it's what the Bears and other teams have done in the past. They aint going anywhere this year or next. They could get first or second round picks for Brian Burns and Jaycee Horn possibly. I don't think they would want to give up Taylor Moton as he's on the oline. But that said, If I were in their shoes and not having a first round pick next year I would think about trying to get a first rounder some how to have control on a rookie contract for the next 4-5 years to build around Bryce Young. They only have 6 total picks next year. 1 in each round starting with the second.

    Anyone own a Mazda CX?

Yeah. I love my Wrangler. Bought it new in 2013. Just ready for a different style and some automatic transmission for a little while with a some 0-60 upside.

MNF Discussion: Packers at Raiders - Wk5

I'm fine with anything as long as Carolina loses out. Bears and Minnesota are playing for a top 3 pick this week possibly. Although that's a long way off.

UPDATE: Justin Jefferson - Chest Injury Wk 14

That was the only team that came to mind when you mentioned it. The only other situation would be like if Tua got another concussion or something. Miami is primed and ready to roll this year. If they lose Tua, they are stuck with MIke White. But then again, that would be an injury thing that would need to happen.
