When I retired I didn't want to stop being accountable or active. I took a job as a rural mail carrier at the USPS. (Very different than city carrier). When I got assigned to a certain office, I mentioned I don't need to work a lot but am willing to. I basically, for the past year+ have worked about 4-5 days a month. Depending on the season. But even working that little, I get full health insurance. It's pretty nice.

Been with my girlfriend for about 13 or so years now. We never even brought up marriage but do at times just say we are to avoid the "why not?" questions from occasional acquaintances. She is much younger than I am by about 20 years so she has no plans to retire. But at her pace, she could retire in her early 50s although I doubt she would want to. She's never had a penny of debt in her life and it's not because her parents are wealthy. Quite the opposite. Currently she makes about 160k a year. When I worked I topped out at about 140k. I had no interest in management which included sales. I've been a worker bee all my life. And liked it like that. I think the stock is a firm hold for me right now. It's a stock that performs in all economical climates. It has it's ups and downs, but so do all stocks to a degree. I have a long time friend who works in an investment company. He's been there for a while and they have a good rep. After I retired I have them handling my IRA all with good results so far a year and a half in. I know my limitations when it comes to investing. So I don't mess around with it beyond what I do know.

I applaud Trump's America. First, it has the liberals now saying who is a citizen and who isn't (they don't even know they are doing it), which is refreshing, and second, as stated above "don't push ICE agents". I see. I haven't thought about selling the stock other than, how to approach it. All of the stock is over a year old since I bought. But thinking about when the time comes. I'm won't be eligible for social security for a few years but also thinking about that and how to approach. I know the old rule is wait as long as possible, but I would hate to see some new wave Hillary Clinton get in the white house and fock that all up. Plus, WTF knows when our time will be up on this earth. I have plenty of time to think about it though. How are you withdrawing from you stock? Are you taking out as needed, or simply in larger chunks?
