I'm trying to understand how DEI allowed you to hire some spectacular employees. The fact that you even mention DEI means you've ignored White/Asian candidates so you could not possibly know you hired the best spectacular employee or not. You may have used merit once you used DEI to discriminate and whittle down the pool to just DEI candidates, but you still discriminated if you used DEI. Help me understand.
