There are TWO types of successes when dealing with movies: critical and commercial. What you are hanging your hat on is a critical success. Movie studios would rather have a commercial success. Commercial success = profitable. If it does not make money then "go woke, go broke" would apply. Currently at $599 million worldwide. It sill needs at least 650 million to break even. If we're being generous, then maybe $400 million. No way it even gets to 1 billion, IMO. Although, is it actually "woke"?
