Try leaving your weapon unattended while you're in the military and see what happens. In military circles (including cops/FBI), forgetting your weapon and leaving it unattended in an open area is an ABSOLUTE cardinal sin and will/should get you in very hot water. You brush it off as, "meh. not a big deal" but you're also the same crowd that cries about Americans even having guns to begin with so your hypocrisy shines right thru. Leaving your weapon unattended - especially in a public area - is an absolute no-no. Imagine one of those 2A guys walking around with their AR's to prove a point and one accidentally leaves it in the bathroom at Qdoba. Don't tell me you wouldn't be for this guy not only losing his weapon permanently, but losing the ability to own one, a fine and/or some jail. Also, remember the North Carolina cop that shot Walter Scott in the back while he was fleeing and everyone rightfully lost their sh#t? In almost every state in the union you CANNOT shoot a fleeing suspect because at that point you are out of danger. A fleeing vehicle is the same thing. How this guy even survived keeping his job after that is unbelievable. So you also gaffing this off is absurd and hypocritical. If you lost your bacon over Walter Scott or George Floyd, you should be just as apoplectic about this. Every gun owner knows you don't do this. Yelling at a cop at a football game seems to be very unprofessional. All in all, ALL of these incidents add up to a guy who should not be near a gun, much less on a police force.
