Yes, OF COURSE someone who is here illegally is more of a flight risk. And he does have a criminal record: he's here illegally. This isn't even a debate. You realize that EVERY day people are charged with crimes and that includes a whole host of other charges that are eventually dropped or waived. You calling that "theatre" too? It's an actual prosecution thing they do with prosecutors everywhere all across America: Add a bunch of charges so in case you lose some there will be others. Are you really this dense? I grew up in a religious household and while I believe religion can be a good thing - and I hold no ill will towards those who practice religion - religious people will believe what they want to believe. I never understood why God/Jesus/Whoever spoke in riddles and "appeared" in things rather than just showing up and saying, "Hey, right here! Stop doing that sh#t". Right? Seems like that would be the best way to clarify things other than these types of "appearances" where it just confuses people even more. Or maybe this is just a cloud.
