Mercedes-Benz wants car back from Deion Sanders' son Shilo after alleged default
EternalShinyAndChrome replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Yep. Basically, Shilo didn't show up for the court case so the court decreed a default judgment in favor of the security guard. From what I've read, Sanders is one of those d0ucheb@gs who thinks he doesn't have to answer to anyone because daddy is Deon Sanders. Now he's trying to get out of everything he owes BEFORE he signs any contract with the NFL so no one can garnish his wages or get a piece of that. D0ucheb@g move. -

"Wahhh!!!!! I didn't get what I wanted, so I'm going to sue!!! I'll just make some sh#t up as the reason!" I mean, they LITERALLY used the democratic process to pick the name. -

Violence is a feature of the Democrat Party and liberals in general, it's not an exception. The US has a problem with leftist and far-leftist violence. It's just about an epidemic now. Hopefully the FBI gets it's act together and go after these extreme groups and people with a vengenance. -
Packers submit proposal to ban "tush push"
EternalShinyAndChrome replied to listen2me 23's topic in The Geek Club
Why is that a problem? Wut? Really? You serious, Parker? Because you're NOT supposed to be assisting the runner forward. For example, the Offensive line can't pick up the RB and start running with him. Or pick him up and throw him over the TD line. I mean, c'mon. It's painfully obvious WHY you shouldn't be assisting the runner by pushing, shoving, pulling or throwing. Are you really going to play obtuse here? Otherwise, you allow it but you allow the DEF to do the same. But that's not football. That's rugby. And it's also a dumb and unexciting play. It's clear that the Eagles are trying to game the system and that's not in the spirit of the game either. Even Sean McVay says "That doesn't look like football to me". -

You ban it because you have other players asssisting and helping the runner move forward with the ball. Otherwise you allow it but you allow the defense to do the same thing for defensive plays. -
Colorado house committee votes in favor of transgender bill
EternalShinyAndChrome replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
This is clearly a violation of the First Amendment and will be dealt with as such by SCOTUS if it ever gets codified into Colorado law. This is no different than calling someone a "racist" or "nazi" or "homophobe". Are we going to codify those as well? And all other terms anyone feels is derogatory to them? No way this stands. -
Susan Crawford won by about 237K votes. I don't see any evidence of election hijinks, but I wouldn't be surprised. Democrats have been stuffing ballot boxes and cheating for decades.

EternalShinyAndChrome replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
Slippery slopes are VERY real. This seems like a no-brainer SCOTUS reversal if they ever make this law in Colorado. However, they only voted it out of committee. From what i understand it still has to pass in the CO legislature. -
Packers submit proposal to ban "tush push"
EternalShinyAndChrome replied to listen2me 23's topic in The Geek Club
Just to clarify, if a team tries it once, maybe twice, that - to me - is not the same thing as making it a regular play in the playbook like the Eagles have. I guess I should have clarified that. -

EternalShinyAndChrome replied to listen2me 23's topic in The Geek Club
But again, you're missing the point. It doesn't matter if other teams have tried it once. That doesn't mean everyone is doing it all the time like the eagles are. If we're going to allow offensive players to push or pull a player into the end zone then we should allow the defense to do the same for defensive purposes. -

Yeah, most teams don't do it. But that's beside the point -
Packers submit proposal to ban "tush push"
EternalShinyAndChrome replied to listen2me 23's topic in The Geek Club
You're missing the point: we don't allow Defenses to do it, so we shouldn't allow the offense either. Or, if we allow the offense to assist players then we should allow the DEF as well. -
Packers submit proposal to ban "tush push"
EternalShinyAndChrome replied to listen2me 23's topic in The Geek Club
The point is other teams don't try it because it is illegal, at worst, and gaming the system, at best. Like Sean McVay says, "That doesn't look like football to me". Not only that, we don't allow the DEF to do any of that. -
And yet, the poster who posted LITERALLY above your post did exactly that.

EternalShinyAndChrome replied to listen2me 23's topic in The Geek Club
That's exactly the point and Eagles fans don't seem to want to address that disparity. Seems like it's the "Well, it benefits my team when they game the system so I'm all for it" mentality. I guarantee you Eagles fans would be against it if the Cowboys were the ones doing it instead of them. -
Correct but also incorrect. https://www.jsonline.com/story/news/politics/elections/2025/04/01/wisconsin-supreme-court-election-results-brad-schimel-susan-crawford/82417975007/ Soros and Pritzker told the Democrat Party EXACTLY where to send that money and they complied. It was a smoke screen and a redirect. It's as if they gave it to her directly anyways. And I agree that we should try to keep money and billionaires out of it, but when the left talks about it, all they talk about is "the other side's" money and billionaires. Never their own. So, respectfully, all of these claims by the left about "money in politics" fall on deaf ears because in reality all they are trying to do is prevent one side from doing that.

But all their money came from regular people just donating like $1 a piece!
