Surprised to see Gibbs that high. Wasn’t even a full time starter.
-
As I just mentioned in a previous thread this will be my 31st year doing FF. Started in 1994. My first three picks were Elway, Rodney Hampton and Timmy Brown. Finished 9th in a ten team, TD only league. A family league that my aunt kept the scoring by hand after your called in your lineup. It was amazing as she won the league 5 times in about 7 years. No cheating there. Anyway, I was curious if any of the old timer like me remember their first team? Thought it was a good topic to pass the time while we wait for the new season.

I’m glad you shared your story
-
Well, last year there were six rb's with 211 pts or more. Just two WR's so there's that. After 30 years of doing this, it's ingrained in my thick head!
-
Expanded it to include Henry, Gibbs, and Williams.
-
I thought you would be less of a this year but I guess I was wrong.
-
Yeah, I won't do that. At minimum I take one RB. Another interesting comparison is Puka, Wilson and Brown. Leaning towards Puka even with Kupp looming. Wilson would seem to have less competition but it's the JETS!
-
Yeah, I initially thought that as well but his pts per game was higher than the rest of them last season. Doesn't mean he can repeat it but he's in a good offense so he just might. As for the rookie behind him? Be a good handcuff.

Kind of gives credence to drafting Wr early and taking second level rbs.
-
I’m drafting 10th and like you he’ll be long gone. Most likely two of Gibbs, Taylor and Barkley at rb will be there. How you ranking them?
-
I agree. This should be a way to engage others about their opinions on football. But being human sometimes it’s hard to ignore a jerk. Maybe he’ll see the light.
-
Well, if everyone blocks him end of problem.
-
Yeah, it was me. Are you starting to see the common denominator here? This guy whom I have blocked gets into it with anyone and everyone. He's got issues and it takes the fun out of this board.
-
That’s so true. I read years ago a post from a guy who said after years of doing this that sticking to the basics always works. Let the draft come to you. If possible go rb, wr, rb, wr to start. Or wr, rb, and so on. if I can pick Gibbs, Puka, Collins and Walker I’m probably gold.
-
Picking 10th the wr's available are A,J, Brown and Adams in Fuzzy's mock draft/rankings. I'd rather take two rb;s and get N. Collins and Waddle at picks 30,31.

Agree
-
Yeah there’s a lot of uncertainty with the wrs this year. Dilutes the production for sure. Houston, Rams, Philly, Cincinnati, SF and others. Makes me think rb resurgence this year
-
Well that’s good news for Stroud owners I guess. Lots of options but now he’s going round four. Can’t take a qb that high
-
Yeah well, I've blocked him, so I won't have any more issues with him. And for clarifications it's not his opinions that upset me. I could care less if someone agrees with my opinions or not. This forum is supposed to be enjoyable, not a place to be stalked.

Don’t listen to the j bag Weepaws because he’s a loser. Total lying pos.
-
I feel sorry for you. Your pain must be difficult to bear. Otherwise, you would just be a fking azzhole. Hope you wake up before it’s to late.
-
There’s just too many snarky comments I could reply with. I’ll offer the olive branch. Up to you to accept or reject. You choose to reject consider yourself blocked.
-
Yeah it is. Gibbs potential to have a Todd Gurley season also fantastic. No balls no glory

I had Montgomery last year. He missed three complete games, injured in two where he played about a quarter, and the second half of the season he was playing about 42% of the snaps. Yes, he finished with 13 tds. But he's 27 years old with a lot of wear and tear. I'd rather go for the homerun with Gibbs and grab Mostert at his adp which is trending now at 85.
