Businesses setting up booby traps to protect themselves in this blue city's drug haven
JustinCharge replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
Well your gut instinct is focked then. A normal view would be to realize that our urban centers are utterly out of control and we need to switch to the other party as democrats have owned these cities for a hundred years and run them into the ground. Going further left has been a disaster. Time to go right by a LOT. Hold your nose and do it. We need change. -

The GOP leadership has effectively been cowed into compliance. If they actually try to fix it, the democrats will spin the GOP solution as an attack on the poor and the GOP will get swept out of office. as i repeatedly say, the fix begins by restoring freedom of the press. The GOP cant get its message out because the radical left own the press as a monopoly. -
He had broken ribs all season long and they fired the offensive coordinator for being too conservative.

You hate everything this nation stands for? Why dont you move to Canadastan? -
The Chargers story is the same every year. They draft extremely well, they are always loaded, but suffer 19385737338 injuries and thus go nowhere. If they could ever stay healthy, theyd destroy everyone and prolly win a ring. The pass rush is always underwhelming tho. Bosa always hurt. Theres usually 1-2 games where Bosa could win a game by himself by turning it up to 110%, overpowering his block and crushing the play behind the line. Some great pass rushers do that. But Bosa never does. Ive seen him in that situation and he disappears. Khalil Mack was also a bit disappointing last year. Theyve juiced the offense this camp so we will see how that goes.

Because we supported the coup in ukraine in 2014 to oust a russian-friendly government and install a us-friendly government which pissed russia off. We had no business doing that. Russia wont just sit and take it so russia has to be falsely labelled as evil now. -

Would you be willing to go to jail for your favorite candidate?

Yup they excuse it in their minds by pretending republicans are nazis. So like a cult, democrats memory hole their own bad behavior and highlight bad behavior from outside their cult. -
The _______ will win the World Series 2023
JustinCharge replied to TommyGavin's topic in The Geek Club
I think a big part of the reason it got random was coaches stopped teaching. You could still coach a good team up to be dominant, but they dont do that anymore. If you look at the game at a granular level, most pitchers dont know how to pitch, most catchers dont know how to call a game and most hitters dont understand pitch sequences, count, or plate discipline. Everyone is just relying on pure talent. -

Its pretty random. Teams that have the best run differential in their league have an elevated chance to make it, so do teams that enter the playoffs winning 9 of their last 10. A team that gets hot at the end of the season and gets in can carry that momentum all the way to a ring. -

If you are the Giants, would you trade a #1 & #2 next year for DTR?
JustinCharge replied to JustinCharge's topic in The Geek Club
The Browns actually had something similar happen to them in the 1970s. They traded legendary WR Paul Warfield for the rights to select QB Mike Phipps with the #3 pick in 1970. So the Browns invested a lot in Phipps. It went down as one of the worst trades ever as Phipps was terrible. But then the Browns selected a QB from southern California named Brian Sipe in the 13th round in 1972. Sipe also wore #17. He wound up taking Phipps’ job and Sipe won the NFL MVP in 1980. -

Well i actually agree with you on something. I think a lot of analysts are afraid to hype a fifth round QB in rookie camp with an entrenched starting QB. I know plenty of QB rookies have great college highlight reels and are busts. But DTR is truly special. He is doing things in camp that you almost never see from rookie QBs. He is like a unicorn out there. You might have a checklist of all the things youd like to see and most rookie QBs would check one or two, maybe none, and get the starting job. DTR is checking every box. Ive never seen that. Hes power focking 2nd and 3rd stringers in a way you just dont see rookie qbs do. DTR is kinda becoming a litmus test for who knows football and who doesnt. If DeShaun Watson so much as stubs his toe in the regular season, im certain theyll sit him to kick the tires on DTR under live fire. -

Look the real problem in that state is the amish. If only theyd open their culture up to the world and to places like kensington avenue, they could be turned into slaves as well and thats good news for elites. -

I never seriously said chargers were team of the decade. That was a joke thread, before i realized some here are too dense to get the joke. I dont make joke threads anymore and if i do, i somehow include “this is a joke” in the op. apparently nobody hates discussion on an internet forum. Topics that can be debated upset him. I will make sure to add new topics like “water is wet”, “the sky is blue” and “nobody is lame” where everyone can agree. -

Liberals are not here for serious discussion. Just for trolling. They cant win a debate so they call everyone crazy. -

I took heavy criticism for my call on Fernando Tatis, and it looks like i will take more here. DTR has won me over with his UCLA career and performance in Browns camp and preseason. I think he will be a star in the NFL. I wont call him a generational talent but definitely a star. -
Over the last month, Tatis is batting .196 with 2 homers over 107 at-bats.
