Yes to the first. Neither of us knows on the 2nd. Which means you can't say he didn't launder money there either. There's a lot more circumstantial evidence for laundering. He's a confirmed thief of billions/sketchy AF, Ukraine is heavily in crypto and one of the most sketchy AF countries. You know that but you are still saying that it's more likely than not that they weren't laundering $ there? Why are you shilling so hard for this guy? Kind of weird really.

Oh FFS, I mean come on. They are not even trying to hide it anymore. Maxine Waters is going to chair the investigation into FTX. Maxine freaking Waters. Maxine "if it wasn't for Mazie Hirono and John Fetterman I would be the dumbest person in politics" Waters. Less than a year ago, Maxine Waters was blowing kisses to SBF: And, of course, Patrick McHenry will be on that committee. Here's what SBF said about both of them less than a year ago:

The most woke TV show ever?

Surprised no one has mentioned Ted Lasso. Was OK and occasionally funny in the first season. 2nd season. . . (sound of a record scratching) . . . Just veered completely off of the rails into wokeness and became borderline unwatchable.

    2022 Midterm Elections

Did it ever dawn on your brilliant mind that FTX might have realized that when you are sending hundred of millions of dollars all to the dems (look back at my posts - $40M was direct to dem party, hundreds of millions went to PAC's that then. . . wait for it. . . donate only to dems) and nothing to the other side = that might be a little too obvious? Fried was on record saying that he planned to donate a BILLION dollars to the dems in the 2024 campaign. So, call me crazy, but wouldn't something like having your "co-CEO" dump $20M to the other side - wouldn't that sound like exactly the kind of token gesture you would do if you were FTX? Remember this company was washing funds around that were in the BILLIONS. $20M was what they found between the couch cushions after a party in the Bahamas. Does such a smart guy like you really need me to figure this out for you?

Do you have Tourette's or something? "But - the $20M!" "But - the $20M!" Lather, rinse, repeat. You are purposely being obtuse. You saw the #s, you saw who was/is directly connected to FTX. Asking ""But - the $20M!" is the equivalent of someone who's been shot 3 times and stubbed their toe and you're standing there going "but what about the stubbed toe???!!" Who the fuk cares about the stubbed toe - he's got a sucking chest wound.

Dude - don't waste your time. I already made this case and also made the counterpoint that she nuked over 30K of emails before she "cooperated" in this thread weeks ago. You'll be shocked to hear that the board's "centrists" just screamed "false equivalency": and buried their heads in the sand. My brother in law has a good saying that I like; "Never try to teach a pig to sing. It will only waste your time and it will annoy the pig". You are trying to teach a pig to sing, my friend. . ..

    2022 Midterm Elections

The FTX Dog That Didn't Bark | RealClearPolitics That, after all, was what SBF was publicly attempting to do. He dumped $40 million into the midterm elections in support of Democrats; he donated $5.2 million to then-candidate Joe Biden during the 2020 election cycle. He had pledged the FTX foundation to hand out $1 billion in 2022. He did all of this in the name of supposed "effective altruism," a philosophy in which Left-wingers seek to use capitalism in order to enrich themselves, then dump the money into favored causes. "I wanted to get rich, not because I like money but because I wanted to give that money to charity," SBF told one interviewer. "Effective altruism" is just another iteration of the World Economic Forum-approved "stakeholder capitalism" idea -- the idea that CEOs owe their shareholders nothing, but the world at large their time, money and resources. There is a reason that FTX had partnered with WEF -- a fact that WEF has now obscured by cleaning its website. How many scam artists are using such "bluewashing" in order to cover for malfeasance -- all the while colluding with government figures to redraw regulations that benefit them? That, after all, was SBF's biggest scam: He was an advocate of particular types of regulation that benefitted him and used both familial and business connections in order to protect his corporatism. And that's the dog that didn't bark here: Where were the regulators with whom SBF was close? Where were the supposed advocates of "ethical capitalism," who posit social responsibility but whose friends seem to repeatedly be caught with their fingers in the cookie jar, dating all the way back to Bernie Madoff? Maybe, just maybe, the problem isn't with capitalism per se, and its chief admonition caveat emptor, its belief that trust is to be earned rather than granted freely. Maybe the problem is with a cadre of supposed protectors of the public who aren't out to protect the public at all, but to hobnob with other "change agents" from Bahamian estates while patting themselves on the back for all the good they're doing.

    2022 Midterm Elections

Really? If you took the time to look it up then you know that the factor by which he donated to dems vs repubs is 200X, i.e. so de minimus as to be basically non-existent. I am sure that $200K he gave to Liz Cheney definitely is more important than the $40M he gave to dems. But if it makes you feel good spin that - have at it.

    2022 Midterm Elections

You're splitting hairs. I am being honest and acknowledging that we don't know for sure. But holy sh1t dude - that's a lot of smoke for there not to be a fire. And you were saying "waaaahhh, why do we have to note these things and point out how fuk'd up it is". Be less of a toady for your side and you might be able to see a few things. Where am I wrong that there's lot's of indications that he was laundering $ thru Ukraine? He's a sketchy AF crypto CEO who just vaporized $600M, Ukraine is a sketchy AF country that does more crypto than almost any other country, and we've been spraying the firehouse of US money at full blast towards Ukraine for almost a year now. You really think all of that money is getting given to starving children and buying M16s? Have you been paying attention to the last 30 years (or more) of US foreign policy and its results?
