I look at it as the HOF is missing pieces that help to tell the full story of baseball. As it stands now, the HOF is the missing some of its most famous stars. Shoeless Joe, Rose, Bonds, Clemens are all historically worthy players but can’t get in for various reasons. Ty Cobb was an a-hole by anyone’s account, but he is in the HOF. There are guys from the steroid era we all suspect juiced but did not get popped that are in the HOF. The process is flawed. I say let them in but there should be some type of notation. Bonds and Clemens were both HOF players without the juice.

Been there (downtown) several times over the past 5 years for concerts and youth sports. The downtown is nice. Great things to do. PNC is a top 5 ballpark by any measure. I did not see the homeless issues at the level you see at comparable cities in the region. That being said, the Mr. and Ms. Meathead factor is disproportionately higher than comparable cities. Nice place to spend a weekend, but I wouldn’t want to stay.

The town is actually quite nice now. It’s mostly Pittsburghians that are disgusting.
