At the most- I think I'd say perhaps he made his point in the worst possible way.

2 statements: A.) "I'm sorry. If I see a pilot, I'm going to be like 'Boy I hope he's qualified.'" B.) "I'm sorry. If I see a black pilot, I'm going to be like 'Boy I hope he's qualified.'" Do you really not see why the 2nd sentence is an issue?

A complete "look at me, I'm a message board martyr" post from a pissy pants baby who gets mad when you present factual things that break his delusion. That is followed by another pissy pants baby writing a "no look at me- I'm the martyr" post about not posting as much. And the person applauding it all is a baby who faked a health scare to try and gain sympathy- which didn't work because people would rather root for the Grim Reaper in that scenario.

It is a poorly written essay that doesn't address the question and relies on opinions and feelings over research. It shouldn't have received a 0 however. A 0 should really be reserved for someone not doing the work at all. Also, the explanation for why the professor felt it was a zero is clear. This student is being a pissy pants baby but they've learned from MAGA beliefs that is how you get what you want. Whine and cry

The other thing Raiders is ignoring is that in every county that supported Van Epps....his percentage in each area was down. Every single red county he lost ground in.

The entire district is deeply red- everybody knows this. Nashville is not, but they are not the entire district. The Cook PVI score for the county is R+10. Trump got 60.31% of the vote to Kamala's 38.24%....so +22%. Mark Green got 59.50% of the vote in 2024 to Megan Barry's 38.05%....so +21%. Van Epps got 53.91% to Behn's 45.05...so ~9%. You can pretend all you want but when that trend swing is matching up with what we are seeing nationwide it means something.

That last sentence isn't true. There was about 7 million spent overall and 3 million of that was in the primary. There was about 1.5 million that came in towards the end to Epps. In 2024 Trump was +22 in the county. There was a 13% swing to the Democrats here which matches up exactly with the swings we've seen across the country in this current year voting cycle. It's a trend and it's even a deep red county showing it.

Not to get it started too early but I'm heading out for a few days to spend time with friends and family and none of that includes time for political discourse. So whatever you believe politically, whatever you rooted for, and despite how much of the next 5 days you spend on here arguing with others about the same things.... very genuinely- may you and your families have a very happy and safe Thanksgiving.
