I don't want to say the positivity angle is helping- because I think this stuff should be deeper than that even if I know people vote optics. But this is now year 5 or 6 of Trump running for President telling people how the country is failing. And yes prices of things are higher but there are a lot of people in the middle who are doing fine (not killing it, but doing fine) with home equity and value and a higher 401K and all that saying "I mean, are we really failing?" I couldn't even tell you what show she was on currently at ESPN. Wikipedia says ESPN NFL Sunday Countdown. I have not watched a minute of that show in at least a decade because Sunday pregames are for watching fantasy news and scouring weather and pregame reports online.
