Because Inside Out 2 proves what none of the dopes yelling "WOKE" in this thread understand....it's storytelling that draws people in. Disney's biggest bomb of last year was Wish which was not really woke in any way but it straight up sucked. It was 90 minutes of navel gazing by Disney in a movie that can't really be described in a sentence or two (which is traditionally the measure of success in pitches for films). But anyway- the whole premise of this thread was built on "Disney getting canceled" and was about DeSantis going after them. Then the usual gaggle of idiots (HT, Reality, Eternal Dummy, etc) decided this was going to be a catchall for Disney grievances showcasing their inability to think or understand simple concepts and all that. Inside Out 2 passed one billion at the box office this weekend- the fastest amount of time for an animated movie to do so. Disney+ also gained 4 million subscribers in quarter two over quarter one of 2024 Poor Disney- sad they were canceled a few years ago. They would've enjoyed this.
