Basically what I argued but the usual suspects of idiots here don't want to hear that

    June 27 Presidential debate

It is a bit ironic that the one thing that could save Biden yet is his VP candidate who know one is talking about as being the President consideration if Joe drops. It's additionally ironic because after Barack Obama's bad performance against Romney in the first debate in 2012- it was Joe who pulled them back on truck by having GOP wunderkind Paul Ryan for dinner. Also, the big talk of Biden in 2008 was would he come across as too condescending to Sarah Palin and instead people felt he was very respectful to her even with her being overmatched politically. Can whomever Trump brings in as his VP have the same touch towards Kamala Harris?

You guys are bad at this conspiracy stuff.. Wouldn't the move be for MSNBC and CNN to not mention Trump's performance because it will be easier to replace Biden if they keep reminding people how bad he was

So you just watched and didn't do anything to check into what they said and I guess just stared at the TV glow drooling?

Chardonnay? Hahaha. Dude I'm a picnic beer drinker. I ain't drinking chardonnay. And of course it would be Horseman....a "life winner" on his third screen name here (at least) I said multiple places where they lied on topics. You've got nothing. Quit while you're behind.

You are a dummy who doesn't understand anything. Piss off rent-a-cop

Ah so you have nothing to refute what I said.. That's what I figured. At least you stuck around for a few posts instead of the last time where I asked you a direct question and you ran and hid for weeks

You didn't answer my questions. Also, glad you are buddies with whatever person is now posting under probably their 4th account as "Jose M"

More interesting that watching the debate because I didn't have to watch the debate. Ellipsis is how they filled in some things I would guess you are referring to as "incoherent mumbling." But there were also spots where they just did it verbatim. It doesn't read any better than I imagine it looked live. I did fact check things. Trump lied on: multiple things related to January 6th, multiple things on taxes, climate change, abortion issues, Russia, Biden calling people "super predators", stuff related to migrants, "we had the greatest economy in history", the George Floyd protests. Biden lied about insulin price caps, what Trump said about bleach, military deaths under him, and the historians calling Trump the worst president ever. Those are the big ones I noted. I didn't get into all the little things so 9 to 4 in favor of Trump lies (with putting all the individual lies in one heading). So yeah- almost twice as many from Trump. But apparently that is "equitably" to some here.

You were able to read a sentence? Good for you. Progress. Soon you'll be able to stay on a topic and maybe even post a link supporting something you say. I know it took 5 years and people with an IQ of 40 advance faster than you but you are getting there. 1.) If Biden had been lucid and crushed Trump last night would you switch your vote? 2.) Are you happy these are the two best options we have for President?

"You loose"? I did watch 5 minutes. I know this will be foreign to you but I read stuff about the debate and read through a transcript of the debate. Reading is something people do where they find a story and sound out letters in patterns that form words. HTH I would imagine a strong portion of that 5% is moving from Biden to Trump. I would also say it's June- that can change yet. But without breaking down the numbers fully I would say there is a good chance a 5% swing could change the election result.

If person A lies 40 times and person B lies 15 times- that isn't equitably. Sorry. it just isn't

    June 27 Presidential debate

Two things to note- a poll last night said only 5% of people were changing their vote based on the debate- it didn't indicate which side the person was moving to. 14% said they were reconsidering- but obviously not changing yet. 81% said they were unchanged....so the debate did really very little damage and with the 4th coming and Trump's sentencing hearings- it won't last long in the media. For Democrats though there might be benefit in Biden losing to clear their deck because they have a deeper bench ready to go either as early as November or in 4 years- just off the top of the head you have Newsom, Whitmer, and Shapiro. I'm not sure who is there on the Republican side and I'm not sure any of the names listed as being Trump's running mate carry the excitement for the GOP. Like losing this year might (almost) guarantee you the Presidency from 2028-2036. Winning now means almost assuredly Harris has a lead in for the nom in 2028 and I don't think she carries excitement in or out of the party.

Do you believe there is no benefit to DEI?

DEI as a concept is fine. Where it runs into issues is how companies, and individual HR departments, employ it. By that I mean- if you are using it to find the best candidates regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, etc you are doing the right thing. If you are using it to eliminate out a subset of people and then finding the best person excluding that group- well you are doing it wrong.

They did not lie anywhere close to equitably last night. But again- to people like you who are dyed in the wool it doesn't matter. You slurp what you get.

    This economy is so bad

Seriously....RLLD has gone down this road three times and never once given anything other than videos and said "There..evidence"

    June 27 Presidential debate

This election simply again is a referendum on a personality and not policy. People are either voting for Trump because they "like him" or against him because they "hate him" Biden didn't do anything to assuage fears that Democrats had about him and he wasn't going to win a bunch of people over to his side even if he had an extremely lucid debate last night. Trump lied like crazy about stuff last night and at one point even said he talked to Putin after the invasion of the Ukraine and Putin told him this was "his dream." But people who like Trump don't care that he lies or will increase the debt- he "tells it like it is." Again- this can't be the two best options we have for President. The people should rally against both parties for putting this slop forward but instead they get suckered into trading barbs pretending one person is considerably better than the other on random corners of the Internet

Seriously....a political candidate falling on their face in a debate probably wouldn't crack like the top million happy occasions in my life.... but people saying stuff like Voltaire said is just emblematic of how idiotic political discourse and everything has become in this country.

I watched maybe 5 minutes and saw Joe coming off as badly as I've seen him look in a debate and Trump lying through his teeth multiple times. I thought what I've thought for the past 4 or 5 months now; "In the greatest country in the world- these two guys are the best options we can come up with for President?" All reports say Biden came off better in the last 10-15 minutes then he did prior to that but I was watching Beverly Hills Cop II by that point.

I love that he thinks he is dunking on me by saying "You don't even need to watch to be told how to feel" when he outright said in this thread he needs someone to tell him how to think.

The centrist poster strikes again with the common MAGA attack lines. What independent media did you have to watch so you knew those lines?

CNN doing everything they can to block the debate fairuse

See- you have many options now for someone to tell you how to feel about the debate instead of formulating your own opinion. Very relieved for you. I wouldn't want you to have to overwork your brain any

All the Disney Star Wars things have been trash. Woke had nothing to do with them.

Which you can still do after the debate. But you saw an opportunity to try and dunk on a news channel by quoting a report from someone who doesn't understand what fair use is making yourself look dopey in the process. Solid job dude
