The Bidenomics Thread : Please Post Your Examples
Sean Mooney replied to RLLD's topic in The Geek Club
Just posting this again: Funny too seeing people cry crocodile tears over child poverty being up when the credit for it being down was the stimulus payments and everything they continually criticize and recognize as a factor in inflation. Mental disconnect for them I'm sure....spinning their targets on a whim -

October comes directly before December? Interesting. -
The Bidenomics Thread : Please Post Your Examples

Prices fell last month for the first time since April 2020. Sales rose slightly for last month which is not what people were predicting. Additionally there was a story this week that some polling seems to indicate fear of a recession has dropped among the public. Minimal positive movement for the economy, its health, and perception....but positive nonetheless. (cue 20 posts about "Well what about...", more stuff not responding to the actual facts here, and League Champion posting non sequitur nonsense from his pea brain) -

See- again- you are interested in....and probably incapable of....having an intelligent discussion about this. Get help -
[** Official President Joe Biden Thread **]

Yeah cause Republicans have never done that. Simple fact- presidents have limited to no control over gas prices...full stop -
So you quote some words- I'm sure wildly out of context- and post this story to make it seem like I am okay with this? Again- you aren't interested in real discussion. It would probably break what little brain you have. Of course this story isn't okay and that person should rot in a jail cell.

No sane person talks like this. "Liberal hero"?
-
I'm not like you (or the other ball washers here).....I don't hero worship politicians or really anyone in the public sphere. Good try though
-
How many more threads about trannies can you start today? Also, people doing what you do in immediately going to call people "pedophiles" and everything is the same crap as when liberals immediately scream "racist" at people. It is a way for a dishonest, unintelligent person to get out of having an intelligent conversation. Congrats- you are the flip side of the goofy "chick" in the first video. Hope your life feels fulfilled

Noted Internet weirdo League Champion is upset because white kids aren't having it written on a piece of paper that they are loved. Maybe if someone had told him they loved him when he was little he'd have a personality other that shitt stirring X scrolling troll on a fantasy football message board.

Twitter adopts 'poison pill' to prevent Elon Musk takeover
Sean Mooney replied to Utilit99's topic in The Geek Club
How many tears did you shed writing this tripe? I never said anything about Musk....I spoke about the people in this thread painting it in one way or the other. But to pretend Musk wasn't picking a position is just head up your own a$$ onsense. -
Roger Goodell Says NFL Is Ready to Ban Controversial Hip-Drop Tackle
Sean Mooney replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
When you are running behind someone and dead weighting them at the engage point you are increasing the risk of injury. Yes it is in context of trying to stop a ball carrier but that doesn't mean it isn't dangerous. There are layers of danger in football tackling...anyone can see why one would be more dangerous than another. The context in your statements is "can" be dangerous. Yes- a 250 pounder spearing into someone's chest can be dangerous. But more dangerous is a 250 pounder grabbing me from behind, dead weighting themselves so all my momentum now falls back over the rest of my body. But again- the important part of what I said is- I'm not sure how you legislate it. A horse collar tackle is a bit more cut and dry to penalize. I played football for many years, was all conference in high school and played D2- the hip drop tackle is not how anyone is taught to tackle even in pursuit. I'm sure others here played football as well- maybe they were taught differently. -

I suggest you read the thread window licker. It was very much about "owning libs" for the dope squad here...which you are strongly angling to be the leader of. Again- their value has dropped 56% despite what the hero worshipping idiots on X write and the billionaire bootlicking idiots here want to believe. Dispute the numbers with actual evidence. -

Twitter was bought for 44 billion by Elon Musk....today Twitter values itself- on its own internal documents- at 19 billion. But it's more important to try and say that he "owned libs." -
Impeachment inquiry of Joe Biden begins- over Hunter Biden
Sean Mooney replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Dude has been off the deep end since the doctor said: "Congratulations....its a boy." -
See now that is a real thing to get outraged over because that is so totally tone deaf that it defies rational thinking. Lady should be forced to go through the training they make all teachers go through about sensitivity and then fired. Also- about 6 weeks ago there was a post put in here that I asked a bunch of questions about to try and have a dialogue and it was ignored. See that's the secret about outrage culture. People don't want to actually fix things, or discuss things. They just want to be outraged over and over again because by keeping the pot boiling you can keep people mad.

That's a good bootlicker. 100 GOP points to you. You can cash them in to meet Jeb Bush or you can keep your points and move to the next level. -

Also, take Hunter up on his offer to testify in public. If the case and belief are strong then take him down in front of everyone....unless maybe the case isn't as strong as they want people to think? -

If they think they have a case to present and move forward with they should. Besides- anyone with a brain knew that the minute they went ahead with impeachment stuff on Trump this was going to happen. It isn't surprising, it isn't shocking. and like Trump- if Joe did something illegal they should throw the book at him. -

#1.) I'm not the authority of all young adult novels. I gave you an initial list of books that have been criticized in the past for being too sexual for teens. Are their heavier examples than what I mentioned? Probably. Again- my larger point was in these cases there are people stretching their beliefs onto others. I'm against that. Would I personally read All Boys Aren't Blue or Gender Queer? No I wouldn't. I'm not gay and I'm just not that interested. I would assume someone who is gay and is interested would want to read it. I'm also not going to get overly upset about reading passages of the book stripped of context. For all I know- that blurb you read is a small part where the person is talking about an initial sexual experience. Plenty of books deal with the awkwardness of the first time be it more graphic or sensual. However, if the book is not in a curriculum (and to be clear- it absolutely shouldn't be) and is something a kid is deciding to pick up off the book shelves- so be it. #2.) It's not about someone being a hypocrite to me and if you took that as me implying that about you I apologize. It is about how what people want banned in books is a moving target and is more about them having their way over someone else. I may not like a particular book for whatever reason but if you do you should be able to read it. It should not matter what I think. Likewise- if a gay kid wants to read something that speaks to their experience they should be able to read it. The book shouldn't be forced on people or forced into their hands but if they pick it up so be it. In many schools across the country those two books are not even on shelves- they are in an online catalog that kids have to actively seek out to find. #3.) Again to be clear- I'm not saying "Screw it, this stuff should all be out there for everyone." I'm also not saying "We need to eliminate it all." I'm saying- "Let's let kids teenagers have some autonomy in what they read and let's let parents have some say in that discussion." If teachers are forcing kids to read a book with strongly graphic gay sex passages they should face consequences. -
