Government has bloat- nobody disputes that. The main objection is how these cuts and everything went down where it seems like there was lack of a plan and in DOGE's case it was more about "Oh man- look at the numbers." There is a lot of speculation about those numbers and what is actually being cut and by moving things under different groupings you are just creating more waste. To be more exact they are doing what a business does- consolidate departments and give more work to people who are still there because "##### you, do more work." That doesn't lead to efficiencies that leads to overworked people doing half ass jobs which cause different and/or more issues.

On its surface a good deal. There are some unknown things yet but this should work out overall

No. I see how all that money could be used to improve things here on Earth. There is too much carbon dioxide in the air on Mars, the air is thinner, we would need specialized spacesuits to do anything there. We would have to create a complete atmospheric overhaul on the place which would take many lifetimes and there is some scientific evidence that the planet was already habitable and turned away from that. It's a money dump.

Where do you live that in store egg prices are down 5 dollars since March? Or are you just talking wholesale prices? So I did some digging. On January 2nd the price of a dozen eggs at wholesale was 5.81. In March of 2025 they reached an all time high price of 8.17. They are now at 3.16. That is the lowest the price has been since October.

Because going to Mars and trying to do anything there would be a colossal waste of money.

Of course he does. Look you could believe he is financially secure at whatever age he is saying this time around or that he is a life winner or whatever other adjectives he uses to describe himself. Or you could stare at the facts and see that he once said "If someone knocked on my front door I'd have to answer it." or that he has had like 5 or 6 screen names on a fantasy football message board so he doesn't lose any time here posting. Or that he talked about whoring his wife out to the highest bidder. None of that screams "life winner." It screams delusional potential serial killer.
