Neil Gorsuch being selected in 2017 featured flouting around the filibuster rules. It wasn't a permanent end but it was a "let's end it for now to get what we want." But either way- my comment is not specifically about the filibuster. It's about hypocrisy in political parties in all circles- if they want something it is great, when the other party wants it, it is terrible.

It's an example of hypocrisy that infects both political sides of the aisle.

Skittles aren't banned. They are not allowed to make them with titanium dioxide there but you can still buy skittles. But even titanium dioxide isn't banned in food in the US- It is heavily regulated though

And I asked what made Yellen unqualified for the job. and you respond in part with after the fact stuff again You've yet to answer a simple question. Levine had pretty good support in PA. Signed an order which allowed officers to carry Narcan. Was unanimously confirmed as Secretary of Health by the PA State Senate. Did well in fighting COVID in PA but then got appointed to the position in the cabinet and it became about so much more than just how they had pretty capably done their job up to that point.
