The bolded part has nothing to do with the economy. I can understand someone voting for Trump because they are tired of woke culture. I can understand someone voting for Trump because of their perception of the economy, or inflation, or anything else economically. But don't say "The Dems didn't have a plan" and talk about the economy as your reason in voting for Trump and then throw in the bolded part.

Or...you could listen to all the evidence that points out why this was a terrible idea from the jump and just not do it. You could have also done some of this without just throwing a few boxes of C4 into the economy. But hey- who cares if things were going fine 6 months ago, We got President Trump yelling pew pew as he fires finger guns into the air
  4. "I'm doing okay but I can see and understand why others will be hurt by policy x" is called having empathy for someone else. It's okay to have that...makes someone a human being.....and not a drooling message board troll who wears a helmet throughout the day

What about Trump's plan is working well so far? The economy was fine 6 months ago....not great, but fine. We had staved off a recession coming off a global pandemic. Inflation was still higher than you would want but coming down to norms.

If Biden had done this it would've been idiotic as well. I'd imagine though many MAGA mooks here would've been losing their sh!t as well

April is National Limb Loss Month

    Another damn tranny thread....
  8. Could be worse- he could be screaming that he is a life winner or a self made millionaire on here. Lots of self made millionaires hang out on message boards I'm sure.
  9. Hopefully utilt99 and all 4 of his alter egos can get out of their shift at McDonalds that day.
  10. I think you are taking the ultimate negative position on it though.
  11. Tim....generally @avoiding injuries is correct in what he is saying. You seem to be taking an extreme negative position on this and it is the absolute worst case scenario. If someone is more than 8-10 years from retirement you will most likely be okay even with this recent downturn. You are almost at the point too where you should be moving your money to less volatile things anyway. If you are 15-20 years from retirement there really is no reason to worry because of the amount of time. One area that I think avoiding injuries is overlooking are people who have money in like other short term account stuff. I have 2-3 smaller accounts where I tuck money away to do bigger house repairs and everything as they arise and those are going to take a bit of a hit with the recent downturn meaning there isn't as much money there as there should be but even then the damage is not catastrophic- more in annoyance territory.
  12. Sorry i don't buy into the tinfoil stuff like you.
  13. Protestors being paid to protest is one of the dumbest theories out there.

They want you to think this isn't a "who will blink first" scenario... It is 100% a "who will blink first" scenario between two people who will forever try to tell you they never blink.

Is this what FBGs was like?

On one fantasy football message board arguing about the drama at another one? Man- wait until you guys discover what it is like to be with a woman......
  16. There are some reports that the Customs and Border Protection and ICE departments are going to get DOGE'd. That might not help combat illegal immigration.

Stock Market bubble - will crash

Stock market opens in bear market territory....will it finish there? If it does finish there it would be- not counting the pandemic time- the fastest peak to bear market shift in history. The fastest shift on record is during COVID.

Soda Pop Wars: MAGA vs MAHA

The title of the article itself was: Soda Pop Wars: Inside ‘Pay-To-Post’ Campaign To Pit MAGA Against MAHA I was just quoting that title. Do you people not have the ability to read or do you just get off on taking unnecessary shots?

Soda Pop Wars: MAGA vs MAHA

Interesting story here that looks at how people are manipulating discourse online through the battle over soda. There is a push from some circles to try and get soda labeled as ineligible from the SNAP system. Then a firm stepped in behind the shadows (allegedly-ish) and started paying MAGA influencers to make posts talking about this being government overreach, post pictures of Trump drinking Diet Coke, and paying people up to 1,000 dollars per pro-soda post. It just strikes me as interesting to this story but also to the idea that this speaks to a much larger issue where corporations and politicians are finding new ways to rile up people through less than noble means. https://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2025/03/25/soda_pop_wars_inside_pay-to-post_campaign_to_pit_maga_against_maha__152551.html

Poor RLLD- still using YouTube videos to try to prove points by just reading YouTube titles put there by idiot opinion people.

Yes when you use fake numbers and everything why should anything else matter. When people in the public are readily willing to whitewash what you do because you are for "their team" why bother?

LIBERATION DAY: US economy now in reverse

Heard and McDonald Islands - a territory which sits 4,000km (2,485 miles) south-west of Australia - are only accessible via a seven-day boat trip from Perth, and haven't been visited by humans in almost a decade. Heard Island, though, is barren, icy and completely uninhabited - home to Australia's largest and only active volcano, Big Ben, and mostly covered by glaciers. It is believed the last time people ventured on to Heard Island was in 2016, when a group of amateur radio enthusiasts broadcast from there with permission of the Australian government. The islands are listed by Unesco World Heritage as a rare example of an ecosystem untouched by external plants, animals or human impact. "It's heavily colonised by penguins and elephant seals and all kinds of sea birds," said Prof Coffin, who studies the undersea geography of the islands. According to export data from the World Bank, the islands have, over the past few years, usually exported a small amount of products to the US. But in 2022 the US imported US$1.4m (A$2.23m; ) from the territory, nearly all of it unnamed "machinery and electrical" products. shipments had been wrongly labelled as coming from the territories, rather than their actual places of origin.
  23. Trump just continues to be a huge pile of : He is missing this to go to the Saudi Arabia controlled golf tournament. And if you can find an example of Biden doing something like this- it was awful then too. HTH

Pete Hegseth texted war plans to a reporter by accident

I never said it was Hegseth's fault. The only thing I did say he had any fault with was not double checking to make sure everything was what it needed to be and being too trusting. I balmed Waltz from the start and said he was the one. Blaming Goldberg for anything is silly. He was the one that got added. He talked about the problems with him being included- intentionally or not- and kept everything mostly basic. Then the Trump team decided to continually assault him and lie about stuff so he threw his receipts on the table.
  25. https://www.wjhl.com/news/regional/tennessee/722k-in-food-shipments-to-east-tennessee-food-bank-canceled-by-u-s-department-of-agriculture/ Condensed version of the story: The Second Harvest Food Bank of Tennessee had 21 tractor trailer loads of food (377,000 pounds in all) that were scheduled to be delivered through April and July canceled last week. The cancellation came about because the Commodities Credit Corporation is paused right now funding wise and pending federal review. The cancellation will affect programs like Mobile Pantry in the area and Harvest to Home- an organization which provides food and meals to people undergoing ongoing medical treatments). The Food Bank is currently trying to find ways to replace the cancelled deliveries but that is a lot of food and proteins to replace. Additionally, often the food from the USDA is more nutritious due to regulations that are followed. This also comes as a fallout of the 1 billion dollars in programs that the federal government has slashed that was earmarked for food bank and school programs for putting locally grown produce in schools and food bank programs. Look- whoever is doing this, hopefully they figure this out and stop it. Republican or Democrat this is bad policy and is creating unnecessary issues for people who need the food the most.
