Again I spoke a few weeks ago about how poorly the Harris campaign was being run: A big thing to me is- in 2016 Hillary's team treated Trump as a joke. In 2020 Biden went after Trump. He didn't treat him as a joke. In 2024- the Kamala campaign looked at both of those strategies and decided that Hillary's was the one to follow.

Sure but usually a hierarchy breaks out at some point even in primaries. I'm more asking though will Vance have the main in road (a la- Bush in 88 following Reagan) or will someone else jump out in front of him Tulsi would be interesting. It would also test the "viability of a woman president" hypothesis out there right now

Biden's team did in 2020 what Hillary's team in 2016 and Kamala's team didn;t do this year. He went after Trump and his faults. They treated Trump as a joke.

Is that after Vance gets his turn in 2028 or do you think she jumps Vance in the line?

I called Trump winning weeks ago and I still hold to what I said weeks ago that the Harris campaign was horribly run.

So the year in which we felt the full impact of what COVID wrought? Also, the impact should have been about 3% and it was 6% which would indicate other factors at play. And the main thing they signed in was building on the acts in March and December of 2020....

This is you telling jokes right? Also, important to note- of the past 4 Presidents- 3 entered the White House in or around a recession or economic downturn of some kind. The only one who didn't was Donald Trump. So he was handed a solid economy and partially because of COVID, partially because of his spending like crazy, and partially his own policies that boosted inflation warning signals he handed a less than stellar one to Biden.

But you argued he didn't do anything to exacerbate it which is just not true.....so a flat out partisan lie from you. Unless you want to retract it now?

Yes we know your thoughts on inflation....and I agreed with things Biden did that didn't help. But you absolved Trump of stuff which will spin that cycle. All of this comes back to you not wanting to hold Republicans feet to the flame for anything.

I acknowledge what I always have....people vote with their feelings on a variety of issues. I don't pick and choose when they can and cannot.

You tried this tactic before and I pointed out that plenty here think people shouldn't vote on this issue because racism isn't there anymore. It's a simple question- are you okay with people voting on their feelings on this issue of the economy? If you are okay with people voting for their feelings- then that should apply across the board.

Yeah check out the boxing thread where someone posted what has been described as an "alleged report" which has yet to be corroborated by a medical board of any kind and used that to try and dunk on people who said "Well if it is true that a doctor was less than forthcoming about information as one article mentioned" they should have their medical license revoked." It was also rightly pointed out that had nothing come out the people who were yelling about this in August would not be in the thread admitting they were wrong.

One thing I read seemed to indicate that records or an exam did not transfer from one area to another.

He works for ESPN- of course he is going to apologize for using the term even though I haven't really heard any criticism of him for saying the word.

I outright said I didn't anticipate a doctor would lie on a medical exam. I also waited until there was some evidence in the manner instead of "JUST LOOK AT EM...I KNOW!!" It still appears too that this is a dog wagging tail revelation as everything sources the same article and the person who it originates from has some questionable biases. We will see when a more legit source picks it up after some vetting. Lastly, you aren't denying what I'm saying your reaction would be had no story come out.
