This is a good thorough series of reads from The Economist about the economy. The article is entitled "The Envy of the World: America's Economy is Bigger and Better Than Ever". It looks at many statistics as to where we are, the change over history, provides a ton of context, and talks about where politics- and both the policies of either Kamala or Donald- could mess things up going forward. I gave thoughts on the interview last night both here and in the other thread. No one chose to engage on it. Not sure what you want. Then someone made some crazy assertions and we ended down that road.

So all the interviews he has done, the debates he has been in, the town halls and candidate forums he has conducted....no one has challenged anything he did in his Presidency? The threads you are in daily here you just click through and ignore?

So the position you are going with now is that NO ONE has questioned him on the things he has done and thus he is free to not admit mistakes? The "liberal media" that you guys love to rail against has not asked him any pointed questions like that?

Debates, townhalls, candidate forums....it's come up plenty of times. He's never hedged on it or even put forth that maybe it wasn't as popular a thing to do as he thinks it was.

So he has not admitted a mistake thus making him unqualified to be President according to your definition.... Got it.

Did he apologize for the mistakes on abortion? I may have missed it and will gladly view a link if you have one.

So nothing from you as well I see I did not ask you to produce a list of mistakes. I said- forget the specifics of mistakes because it's not about what you or I perceive as mistakes of a candidate. You stated an important quality of being President is admitting mistakes. You said Kamala does not admit mistakes. I'm asking when Donald Trump has admitted mistakes. What don't you understand here? What language do you need me to type in so it makes sense to you?

So another non-answer. It doesn't matter what mistakes I think he has made much like it doesn't matter which mistakes you think Kamala has made. That is just you or I putting our thoughts on the candidate's positions. Take out what you personally think her mistakes are. You are saying she never admits mistakes. Now take out personally what I might think Trump's mistakes are....when does he admit to making mistakes?

You have the ability to go back and read the conversation. One person made the claim that Harris does not possess the qualities to be President. I asked what those qualities are and was told an important one is being able to admit mistakes. I never indicated one way or another about mistakes she may have made. I asked though if that is a quality that is important- what mistakes has Trump admitted to. Multiple posts later- we still have not received an answer to that. Just a lot of filibuster and words. It's not about what Harris has done wrong or right, and it's not about what Trump did wrong or right in his term. It's about- if one person has one standard shouldn't the other person have the same standard?

I'm asking him a very simple question and he can't answer it.
