She would fall under the part of the story that is offering denials? Did you skip that part of my post? Also, I would assume Trump wouldn't have said the comment about what it costs to bury a Mexican in front of the family.

TBF- The Atlantic in the piece is providing both sides of the story and is offering confirmations and denials of the story from various parties. That's what a journalist should do. Would it surprise me if Trump said it? No. Do I think he said it? I certainly hope not but he has said some bad things about people in service before- not even from anonymous sources, from his own mouth. So it's within the realm of possibility that he did say it.

1.) The language got updated in 2020 but it wasn't talked about because there were no crazy people picking up the story and promoting it. 2.) He will use the power the same way he is perceiving it to be used against him. 3.) Stop believing the lies of these online influencers and promoters.

Poor Rudy. The dude was a pretty good mayor in NYC by all accounts and did a lot to help the city. And in the aftermath of 9/11 he did a lot to assuage fears and promote NYC as a fighter who would rise back up setting them up as a microcosm of the larger US as a whole. He didn't do everything perfect during it all but there is a reason he became "America's Mayor" during that time.... And then 20 years later he trades it all in to be a ball washer for a grifting douchenozzle who won't do a single thing to help Rudy out now because Rudy is of no value to him. Giuliani is like the other old people who have been taken advantage of by the system and are rundown and beatdown in their waning days just because they are easily duped.

A reporter for Steve Bannon's media network put out there about some change in language. It got picked up by a newsbroker on Twitter A natural healing blog ran with the story and is the first place to directly tie it to the 2024 election. Then a bunch of crazy extreme right wing sites latch on and it gets passed around Rumble and Gettr. Then a TikToker- named TitoComrade makes a video about it. Then a gun enthusiast channel on YouTube makes a video about it So yeah it seems like this is a directive that gets updated. It did this time and a bunch of nuts decided it means "LETHAL FORCE AGAINST CITIZENS!!" and it is becoming a story that is not based in any kind of factual ideas. I get that people hate Biden and hate Harris (and hate Trump) but don't fall for every single idiotic story that gets thrown out there just cause it fits the narrative you want to project.

Oh no....a tenth of the stores of a restaurant chain are closing because people are not eating greasy 1500 calorie meals at 3am as much anymore... how will we ever survive? Both sides legislate to their extremes anymore and politics is worse for it. The abortion issue is one where politically we get it so wrong. There should be access to them up to a defined point (I still hold 20 weeks is a solid cutoff point since it is halfway through a full term pregnancy.) There should be federal protections to them as well considering that there are people who live in states (sometimes through circumstances not fully within their control) who may need an abortion that would not have access to one if the scenario called for it. Anything shorter than like 6 weeks on abortion is absurd. Anything beyond second trimester is absurd. There is a middle ground there that we should be able to find but no politician seems to want to do that.

The disconnect is real...

The MAGA's who think the common man is getting screwed are championing Donald Trump and Elon Musk....the disconnect is real.

Are you dense? If it ends like 269-269 the House selects the President and then the Senate would select the VP from the candidate with the most electoral votes. But if there is a tie there isn't one. Again- you are failing at this.
