Interesting. I do think it speaks to something that I've said numerous times in this election that- if the Republicans were running almost anyone else they'd be running away with this. But by nominating Trump they are trying to snatch defeat from the jaws of defeat. For me- I was a registered Republican until the summer of 2020. I still jive mostly with the Republicans on their fiscal policies but I moved to being an independent mainly because I tired of the fealty to Trump as a party. And I worry that if the Republican party keeps following behind Trump (and god forbid decide to make his sons politicians too) the policy, and party, is just going to fundamentally change and I don't love that. I almost wish Trump would've went away before this election. Of course, I also wish any party would put forth a more moderate candidate overall, but those days may be gone.

The IMF (International Monetary Fund) said this today: It thinks global inflation will fall to 5.8% by the end of the year and 3.5% by the end of next year. The real problem will be now how does the global economy grow. If inflation continues to cool- and reaches projections- there are things that could stunt global growth and that would still pose concerns for a global recession of some kind.

100%..and people here don't see beyond their own projections to understand that.

The problem becomes in a hospital system they have legal consultants or lawyers on retention. If a scenario calls for it they will be consulted to make sure the doctor is within their rights to perform a procedure of this kind. The wheels on that can move slowly though at times so you might have someone who needs help and a doctor might drag their feet making sure they are within legal grounds. It was also be incumbent to be written in such a way that absolves a doctor of blame if they act in a moment and perform something like this. There are a lot of grey areas in this and I don't necessarily trust politicians to write those laws in such a way that cover all bases.

Who mocked the rape victim? And if someone did they are a jackass too. But stop trying to absolve yourself...it's a poor look.

I'm curious what is prompting you to not vote for Trump. It appears from your posts here you buy pretty heavily into what Trump is selling.

I wouldn't mock a rape victim and I wouldn't wish rape on anyone despite how much their opinions might differ from mine. No normal person would.

I think your faith in the outcome of the election is misguided. Trump is going to win. He will end up somewhere between 285-295 electoral votes.
