I didn't say someone used the N word....I said it wouldn't matter if someone did say it- you would still blow it off. Can you not read? -

17 years of accomplishments doesn't get wiped away because someone said "Hey you're a woman and black. You're my VP." She landed the final gig for the wrong reasons potentially but she was more qualified than many others who were in the same spot. It comes down to the old adage of "Maybe the right conclusion but the wrong rationale to get there. -

I think there is an even money chance he doesn't. He will say "We prepared for Biden and the Dems are trying to steal this election with a last second switch." I will say though I don't think it's a given she crushes him. She struggled with Pence at times and while she was better it wasn't in an overwhelming manner. Also Tulsi Gabbard did a pretty solid job against her when she was still angling for the VP slot. Kamala's biggest strength could be as a prosecutor pushing the record on Trump. However, she needs to come of less shrewish than Hillary did in 2016- and I'm not sold she can do that fully. -

Again- if you want to claim she is a VP DEI hire....sure I guess. Biden made a stupid comment about it all and it changed the narrative around her qualifications unfairly to her. But again- she moved up through the system for 17 years being elected and building qualifications to a variety of positions. So at least be accurate and paint the last thing what it is and don't diminish what she accomplished before all of that. -

So you ignore the stuff of saying she ain't black and all that? Good. I'd ignore things that prove you wrong as well. And it wouldn't matter if I showed you directly someone using the N word about her- you'd blow it off. There are plenty of things to attack her over without relying on stuff that seems to hint at straight racism. -

The threads are all over here. Calling her names and a "DEI hire" and a "" and the like. Also saying "she isn't black" Like GTFO -

I'll ignore the racism label and just offer this to Worms point: She was elected twice as DA of San Francisco (the first time she ran against someone whose conviction rate was well below the state average) and did so well she was unopposed the second time through. She was elected twice as Attorney General of California. She was elected to the Senate. She ran for Presidential nominee for the Democrats and lost (after getting attacked by the weirdos on the far left for being TOO EXTREME on crime as DA) She then got selected to be VP after Biden made his comment about a VP selection. However, that thing worked out she was very accomplished as a politician in the lead up and was more qualified than some of the other favorites at the time. She was also one of the few who made any in roads against Biden in those Democratic debates by attacking him over his comments. If someone claims she is simply a "DEI hire" they are ignoring almost 17 years of her leveling up over and over because of her success and focusing on a stupid comment by Joe Biden. -

Not as quickly as people started railing against Harris because she is black..... -
Seriously if someone if going to vote for her it's because she isn't Trump and no Twitter thread for an investment banker is going to change that. Similar to if someone is going to vote for Trump they are going to do it regardless of what a Twitter thread of his greatest hits of stupidity some no name put together. And anyone who would read either thread and go "Hmmm......well now I'm sold to not vote for them" or "Hmmm...good points" is a low intelligence voter who should not be allowed to vote.

This is just pathetic.
-
What else is the MAGA playbook telling you to say about her here? Do they send out a newsletter with talking points? Did you have to sign up for the gig here as the resident nonsense shi! poster?

Joe Biden drops out of Presidential Race

I hope we get more people who own sports websites to give their thoughts so people can share them here. Has Jomboy Media checked in yet. Maybe whatever reincarnation of Deadspin we are on at this point? Maybe the owners of DraftKings can give some thoughts. -
A bad headline but the article clearly says there were shots and that is why he fell.
-
Where does it say "he fell" Also nothing says it wasn't a shooting.

So a little scenario exercise for everyone (and for those on the right, put away the political team stuff for a moment).... The push is to remove Biden from the ticket. But I think at this point it may not matter. Trump is in the pole position and having an assassination attempt against his life only furthers that hold. I'd have to think at this point there is a strong chance Trump is elected President. But anyway.... In today's Politico Playbook they looked at a poll by BlueLabs Analytics about their findings on the 2024 election. What they found was essentially: 1.) Pretty much every Democratic candidate they tried polled better than Biden. 2.) Most of those people were pulling votes from the Republican side as well. 3.) People want fresh faces (consequently- Kamala was polling better than Biden but not as well as the fresh faces. Essentially people wanted someone not associated with the incumbent administration) 4.) The 4 Democrats who polled the best were in alphabetical order: Mark Kelly (AZ), Wes Moore (MD), Josh Shapiro (PA), Gretchen Whitmer (MI)....(I would argue the Dems have a pretty deep bench right now as that 4 doesn't include like Newsom and Jefferies and others who could conceivably be propped up into a run. So there are potentially viable options but you could also be potentially running a candidate that has a strong chance in 2028 or 2032 and burning them on an election cycle that might already be lost which weakens the bench some. The question then is: If you were the head of the DNC and had to make a recommendation in one way or another do you: 1.) Stay the course with Biden and crossing your fingers the old man can figure it out which might lose you the 2024 White House but keeps your deep bench intact. 2.) Roll over to Kamala and asking her to not use one of your potential candidates upcoming and hoping for the best 3.) Roll over to Kamala, letting her pick whoever she wants as VP with the risk that a Kamala loss hurts her and potentially ruins a person for a 2028 bid. 4.) Say "Screw it"- let's pick the best candidate we can off the bench and letting them take the Presidency, or the loss, essentially sacrificing someone for the Democratic brand potentially

on Saturday? Every legitimate news source I saw had it as an assassination attempt from the jump
-
So no legitimate source? Got it
-
Where was it reported the shooter was trans?

Post your link telling you the SS allowed this to happen. I've posted plenty of links breaking down where things went wrong in securing the venue.
-
You guys and this stuff.... The SS was not told to let Trump get shot. There was malpractice in how they did security but that isn't "You need to let this happen"
-
If the Democrats lose in 2024 Kamala won't be close to the candidate in 2028...There are far better candidates behind her that won't have the stigma of 2024 or the Biden administration.
-
Nope...equally dumb.
-
The SS was not under orders to let this happen. That is a completely dumb conspiracy theory.

My thing with her comment on that is just saying "safety factor" is vague. What was the factor in it? Was it literally just someone being on the roof? Was it they didn't think they could see effectively from up there? Was it solely just passing off that factor to the local officials and washing their hands of it? My guess is most of the investigation will focus on that aspect of it all because clearly something broke down in the handling of the building access and someone fell asleep at the wheel on it. I think Cheatle knows that and is using the "safety factor" excuse thinking it will buy them an out. It won't but I think it is the best attempt they can make.
