Kansas City mayor accuses governor of racial 'dog whistle' for calling Super Bowl parade shooters 'thugs'
Horseman replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
I was just providing an example of a THUG. You know what the thread is arguing about. Holy fok you're dumb. -
It's like a group of people playing charades and you come in and tag someone saying "you're it".
-
Can't argue with the influencer angle. Those are a whole lot of dumb people with no other skills really.
-
Go ahead and hijack the thread for a different topic for some weird reason if you want to. IDGAF But if we're talking today versus the 1920s it's easy: 85% says to the 15%, "Hey, why aren't you a part of the 85%, plenty of opportunity?" - makes some sense. 40% says to the 60%, "Hey why aren't you a part of the 40% club?" - pretty stupid, obviously not enough opportunity.
-
We weren't comparing opportunities to other people in the same time period. It's today's opportunities, period, to opportunities in other time periods. But since you're stuck on go....I doubt the majority of people who had to work past 65 in the 1920s agrees with you that there were plenty of opportunities.
-
Labor force participation rate for men over 65 was over 60% in 1920. Today it's closer to 15%. Changes are better than not in 1920 that you're working past age 65 , or dead because life expectance was sub 55 years. That's a "shortage of people capitalizing" as compared to today.

THUG: -
I do somewhat agree with the title of the thread though. You just need to take it back further to 60 or 100 years. 100 years ago most people didn't plan for retirement, if you didn't' have a government pension, they just assumed they'd be working their whole lives. 401K wasn't invented until the early seventies, index funds in 1976 with regular people starting to invest heavily in the 80s and 90s. And with today's technology real time trading with very low fees.

Seems to me a real psychic would be able to x100 your money in no time, just betting on sports or something. What does God say about selfishness and why don't you share this get rich quick scheme? Your best bet 30 years ago (which was right in the middle of the-long-boom by the way) would have been compounding growth of money. If you had taken advantage of that you probably wouldn't be looking for a get rich quick scheme right now.
-
Is this friend of yours one of the psychics?
-
I'm going to assume you're not trying to say that societal laws don't work, rather, you're suggesting locking criminals up isn't a harsh enough penalty. If that's the case make the penalty more harsh.

It's a common practice taken to the extreme sounds just like what a psychopath would say to justify something to themselves. -
Sometimes the answer is just so obvious. Weepaws, Rusty and Gutterboy.

If you knew for a fact you'd have a more compelling argument.

No. It's all you have left. You made this thread specifically to avoid that. Piss off already. -
I do wish I could get good old fashion American denim. The chit coming from China all has elastic in it. It's for retards and fat people.

Zero self control, attention hor . Spending your evening arguing with someone who just called you a garbage person and retarded. Serious Discussion!!1! Shocker. -
What brand shoes are you wearing right now? I mean before you put on your nightgown and slipped into your fuzzy slippers.

Lol, where is the word "buy"? Anyone paying attention in 2016 knows he was talking about more American jobs especially in steel and aluminum. Anyone, except you, that reads your link understands that as a celebration of his policies to create American jobs. Namely tariffs on steel and aluminum, solar panels, and some others. Namely tariffs on China which would be the only one that couple possibly affect the price or jobs making sneakers And namely the trade agreement between Canada and Mexico. Any body using any of that as some gotcha for telling people to only buy sneakers made in the US is a foking moron.

44,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 That's roughly how many solar systems you'd have to visit in order to rule out earth type of life forms not existing in the observable universe. That's how unique earth like conditions may be. 44,000,000,000 in just in our galaxy.
-
Using data collected by Kepler Space Observatory 22% of the solar stars in our galaxy have an earth sized plant in the habitable zone. (That's 22% times at least 200 billion just in our galaxy) There are somewhere around one trillion galaxies is the observable universe. The moon doesnt have a necessary role for life to have developed on our planet. How fast, relatively, life developed on earth has most scientists agreeing it's highly likely we arent the only ones. We're still trying to prove/disprove life possibly happening on Mars for fok sake. Every single animal dont create the ecosystem for themselves. Natural selection and evolution more than adequately explain what you are trying to say. Oceans arent perfectly performing. There are a ton of intelligent species on our planet. Good grief. May I suggest some Carl Segan or Neal Degrasse videos?

A - Coincidence. I bet you know someone (6 degrees of seperation) that is newly pregnant right now. B - Even if she somehow knows things, why is it a second hand supernatural that is telling her.
