I feel bad. Even though he never learns anything I suppose I should try and educate @The Real timschochet a little bit. When I said tariffs were the catalyst that isn't exactly true. It's the uncertainty behind the tariffs. If Trump has done anything wrong, to negativity affect the markets, it's being wishy washy on and off with the tariffs. The market hates uncertainty. Had he said it and just done it the market wouldn't be as volatile. But I get he has to do that when he's using them as a bargaining chips. However, make no mistake, if it wasn't tariff uncertainty it would have been something else; war, crime, scandal you name it. We were due a correction and that's what the market does - historic runs lead to sell offs - the definition of a correction. In reality though, in real life, not the land of makebelieve Tim lives in, the president has very little effect on the market. And I can quote to me saying the same thing when Biden was president. If all else fails try breathing into a paper bag. I've heard that helps. You're welcome.
