Twatadour on a real roll today. "You know, those political signs that say love and accept your neighbor? The ones I'm using as a strawman example of people putting up Obama signs? Yeah, only effeminate men and mouthy women put up those Obama signs. Everyone knows nobody believes that shite except for cucks." Mother Theresa and Jesus Christ must really have pissed you off with their incessant virtue signaling.

Trump's NY Election Interference Trial - Trump is found guilty on all 34 counts
Fnord replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
I just said I don't watch any of them, so you can put away the bolded. I like the fact that you ATTEMPT to be fair minded, but ultimately I think you're unable to overcome your own biases in most cases. I am no better, but I'm not claiming complete even-handedness as you do. ETA: Please provide any links you may have which Illuminate the court cases lost or settled against MSNBC for defamation, slander or libel in which the network paid out hundreds of millions of dollars like Fox has. Much appreciated. -
Could still be a board game if your mom isn't well endowed.

If you ever aren't sue what your opinions are on a subject, come to the GC and the MAGAMOOKS will be more than happy to tell you what you think. It's one of their most endearing traits.

I work in a well respected hospital. After you get tired of yelling about trannies, stolen elections, and pedophiles and need treatment for your bunions, COPD, and pearl-clutching blisters, we'll be happy to treat you. Aneurysms and heart attacks also welcome. -

No it's not. I refuse to watch any of it unless there is a big breaking story. In those cases, when there is just hard news to report, CNN, MSNBC, and Fox all do a pretty good job. It's the prime time lineups you need to avoid like the plague. That's where you'll find the stilted half-truths and "just asking questions" bullshit that gives these networks their reputations. You're not half as non-partisan as you try to present yourself. Kinda disappointed in you recently. -
Wait till his second term. He'll do it all and more.

Glad you went there before I did.

Cards Against Humanity is a great adult party game.

Nice list. I was going to say Samurai Swords, which is the same game as Shogun. I'm a fan of the big map military games with lots of plastic. Buck Rogers was another one. Recently I've enjoyed a cooperative game called Zombicide that fits a similar "Ameritrash" theme.

Just because you think it doesn't make it so. HTH you fuking authoritarian simp.
-
See: the political rise of Donald Trump, fueled by stupid memes for stupid people that think they know just as much about complex issues as experts do. Our resident meme spammer @Maximum Overkill provides an excellent example of this fukkery, as does jon the terrorist, who is completely convinced he knows more about law than everyone sitting in the Manhattan court room with Trump. This is why the evil libs like @BeachGuy23 consider them all to be little more than fungus intellectually, because people not in lockstep with right wing media are still trying to figure out how the greatest nation on earth could elect such a giant ignoramus POTUS.

Thank you for being honest about being in favor of authoritarianism. It'd be a lot easier on everyone if the MAGAMOOKS would just skip to this step already and quit pretending, like @jonmx the wannabe terrorist.

Cultural existential threat: Marxism and Moral Relativism
Fnord replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
Both. There was some concern at first. But my staff don't hesitate to complain about any number of things, and they haven't complained about this. You should have heard the screaming and bitching when the Muslims were washing their feet in the toilets during Ramadan, or when the food service workers were taking breaks in there. They have zero qualms bringing up issues. Not a peep about the trans woman sharing their locker room, though. It's possible that the trans individual is changing at different times out of courtesy, I don't know. -

She uses the women's locker room. No big deal. -

WTF are YOU? Never met someone gay, straight, or otherwise so fixated on transsexuals. Seems like you've got some unresolved curiosity around the subject. As much time as you spend obsessing over it you must be a subject matter expert by now. -

JFC what would you know about it? They probably think you're disgusting. At least THEY are not polluting our low rent message board with bigoted memes of you. -

I'm not an HR Manager but I do hire and manage personnel. I hired a trans woman. FTR, I did not know she was trans until after her hire. In the interview she used her given male name. We assumed he was gay, not a she. We were concerned when we found out, and that she wanted to use the women's locker room. Long story short, she's integrated well and while there have been some minor challenges, overall it's been a positive experience. You find out that they're just people. -

LOL. Now that we've got that out of our systems, GFY.

This. I've always known we need to have guardrails in place, but that ultimately the good inherent in the vast majority of people would win out. Then Trump came along. Obviously I'm not pinning this on Trump, he just made it okay for those that kept their more grotesque beliefs and actions hidden from view to become loud and public, to society's detriment. -
You lay judgment on others regularly. Practice what you preach. I never agree with @EternalShinyAndChromebut I do here. You're a charlatan.

So your contention is that the government is dictating the "need" for DEI to my employer, which obediently acquiesced? I was not present when the powers that be decided that DEI would be a big part of our staffing model. Of course, those conversations took place in the '70s, when DEI was just three random letters smashed together and not some cultural and political touchstone. I'll just politely say I'm skeptical of your theory. -

I was raised Catholic. Guess what? They read the Bible too. So do Methodists, Baptists and Lutherans. All going to hell according to judge, jury, and executioner weepaws. Humble yourself a bit, buddy. You aren't right about everything. No one is. I'm not lying about you or anything else. -
Trump's NY Election Interference Trial - Trump is found guilty on all 34 counts

I agree that this is probably political, but not to the point that it's being done to prevent Trump from being elected, if that makes sense. If Trump wasn't what he is, and so very adept at making enemies, this probably would have blown over. BUT, the fact remains that it looks as if, based on evidence presented in the trial thus far, he is guilty of the fraud he was indicted for. I completely understand where you are coming from and agree that I do not want the DOJ to be a political tool. The bigger problem for me is that now nobody inclined to support Trump trusts anything but Trump anymore. They think the entire justice department is against them, along with the rest of the federal government. Ultimately they throw in with the individual over the system. Now I can't fault someone for doing that if they believe that's what's right. The fault lies with who you are defending, and the fact that it is essentially statistically impossible for one person to be charged with that many things and be completely innocent of all of it. And now none of you will accept guilty verdicts by juries of fellow American citizens upholding their duty, that have seen and evaluated the evidence in person, because poor Trump. It is very sad that we've sunk to this.
