Nope. Agree with all of this. If Republicans gave a fock about actually taking care of their voters, I'd consider voting for them. But instead they gaslight us and try to demolish every aspect of the American safety net so the 1% can slurp up even more wealth. I agree, but the fundamental problem is that to create oversight, bureaucracy needs to be added. Nobody wants more bureaucracy, and Republicans are in the process of destroying every shred of oversight they can. They act as though they are attempting to build a criminal enterprise by removing everyone that has the ability to identify it.

Calm down, Gutter. This is a situation in which you getting spun out is completely unjustified. Trump was aware of the attacks, as were personnel that were "targeted." There was little or no danger, at least relative to what US military members are used to. It was done for Iran to save face and allow de-escalation of the attacks. This was a good thing that Trump was responsible for (at least up until he screwed the pooch by deriding Iran for it on X). I dislike Trump as much as you do. But not everything he does turns to shlt. I am satisfied with the current outcome and hopefully future lives can be spared.

My favorite is when you're at a bar and standing next to a random woman who covers her drink so you don't roofie her. I don't even know what a roofie is or how to get one! I get it though, and try to be conscious of how I might be perceived in certain situations. If I'm walking behind a woman in a parking ramp and only the 2 of us are around, I'll back off or wait till she's away from me a bit before going to my car. It sucks to have to do that, but the woman doesn’t know I'm completely harmless.
