Maxiepad responding to a post with a completely unrelated pedo meme. How novel.

Biden hasn't been in the senate for 15 years. Youre talking about shlt that happened 25+ years ago. Times change. And sometimes people's opinions change as more information comes to light. I know that last bit is anathema to MAGAMOOKS, who seem to be incapable of moving off of a position regardless of new evidence (see: Covid-19), but regular folk are capable of allowing new information to sway their opinions.

Fruit flavored crap like Jolly Ranchers or Starburst. Nasty stuff. Tootsie Rolls can fock off too.

Damn am I tired of the BS about prosecuting politicians because "we don't like them." It's lazy and simple and untrue. You can question aspects of it, or whether he's guilty of certain crimes, but to claim this is just dozens of charges because he's a meanie is beneath you. Dude's made a lifetime of choices that led him down this road. Now he's feeling the heat. Fuk him. Also, I'd like to point out that there's zero chance that Dems would even give a thought to promoting a candidate that had the questions Trump has swirling about. Much less nominate them, vote for them, demolish the public trust in our legal system for their benefit, contort themselves into defending them, or PAY THEIR FUKING LEGAL BILLS for them, FFS. This could never happen anywhere in US history but here, in the modern day GOP. What a colossal, wretched, criminal trash heap this party is.

Not the Mormons. They don't even drink caffeine. Imagine being in a religion that says you can't have booze, coffee, or Mt. Dew. I'd rather be a Satanist.

ESPN’s Latest Trick to Shove The Women’s Game Down Our Throats

Got a link to support this claim, rainbow boy? -
I DGAF what religion they are. Murderers can all go to hell.

Son, you're obviously going to the wrong churches! I had some pretty serious religious zealots in my family as a kid, and while they didn't explicitly say things like "Catholics are going to hell" they definitely thought it. I figured out at a very tender age that they were FOS. My disdain for religion is OG. ETA: In the defense of those zealots (my maternal grandparents) I will say that they were legitimately two of the finest humans I've ever encountered. They walked the walk, but had some nutty ideas about their faith.

ESPN’s Latest Trick to Shove The Women’s Game Down Our Throats

ESPN has a product to sell. They're doing it in a way they've deemed appropriate. No one is forcing anyone to watch. If ESPN has made a bad choice, their revenue will decrease. Seems like you guys just needed something new to complain about, and this came up. -

LOFL. This literally made me laugh. "Serves ya right, ya uppity 'publican! Hey Andre, quit readin dat queer book to da lil ones and go get the firehose and Dobermans! We gotsa teach dis 'ere dirty little 'publican 'is place!" You're not just off your rocker, you took a chainsaw to it and burned it with your crosses. You couldn't be a bigger caricature if you tried. -

I know you know that straight men aren't the only people that watch sports, but I think ESPN may be interested in targeting demographics other than them. PS, you just lofted a softball right over the plate to get hammered on being a total misogynist. I'll leave it alone tho, just cuz I like when you post things other than stupid Twitter memes. -
Fuk no. Doc Martens all the way.

Unless of course someone from a different sect of the SAME RELIGION declares otherwise, that is. "My version of the faith we happen to share is the one true version of that faith and since you worship slightly differently than I despite basing our faith on the same book with the same characters, you can, and will, go to hell" might be my favorite rationale for over the top piety.

I'll check em out. Thanks.

I don't think I've listened to them. I checked Spotify for recommendations based on Fugazi; Unwound and Slint were the only ones I'm not familiar with. The rest (Minor Threat, Bad Brains, Black Flag, Descendents, Circle Jerks, Husker Du, Minutemen, Dinosaur Jr, Rites of Spring, Jesus Lizard) range from great to Jesus Lizard. I don't like Jesus Lizard. The Minutemen are ok. The rest kick ass.

Great choice. Legendary punk/post-punk band formed by Ian MacKaye, one of the forefathers of harcore who also fronted Minor Threat before Fugazi. If Fugazi tickles your fancy, I can recommend about 100 other bands you might like. I was thinking about how I could just spam this thread with recommendations since most of what I listen to is lesser known, but a couple artists stood out to me: The Hold Steady, America's favorite bar band, is probably my favorite rock act of the last 15 years or so. Joy Division. Hugely influential in punk, post punk, and even edm/dance, since they became New Order after singer Ian Curtis hanged himself.

You Can Vote For Any President In The Last 50 Years (Who Gets Your Vote ?)

This list reminds me why I always left that field on my ballot blank until 2020. -
We've been over this, rube. I type MA into my phone and it does the rest for me. Ain't tech great? No effort at all to call out the afflicted among us.

Doesn't have much to say other than regurgitating right wing Twitter memes and being our most prolific starter of transgender related threads. Probably a closeted queer of some type. REALLY likes his rainbow emojis. NTTAWWT.

They won't see or admit to this. Poor Trump is just being unfairly persecuted by the evil libtards. Second verse same as the first. -
Bernie Sanders Proposes Reducing Americans’ Workweek to 32 Hours
Fnord replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Ouch. I am REQUIRED to take holidays off, but have to use PTO. Only the 6 major holidays count, so I'm working on the 2nd rate ones like Presidents, MLK, and Veterans days. I don't "work" on weekends, but do occasionally have to attend high priority virtual meetings and have to be on call one holiday and 7 weekends per year. And with two kids, most of my "free" time is just work away from work. -
Bernie Sanders Proposes Reducing Americans’ Workweek to 32 Hours
Fnord replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Fukin A right. I was just thinking that if this passed, with some luck I could whittle my work week down to 45 hours or so. I've told my employer repeatedly I'd happily work 4 12's every week for that extra day off. I have been politely told to pound sand. Of course I'm salaried so it's all relative. But I guess I'll take it if I get to spend that extra time drinking and drugging, like weepaws says. -
He won't be available at 11.

Let's go back 40 years and take a look at SB winning teams WITHOUT a franchise QB: McMahon, Bears 1985 Hostetler, Giants 1990 (but Simms started the majority of the season) Rypien, Redskins 1991 (I feel like this was the most underrated single season team of my lifetime. They don't get mentioned with the greats, but they DOMINATED) Dilfer, Ravens 2000 Johnson, Bucs 2002 Flacco, Ravens 2012 Foles, Eagles 2017 7 times in 40 years, and every one of those teams was STACKED and featured a historically good defense. The Vikings last franchise QB was Fran Tarkenton. He retired in 1978. He led the team to three super bowls and was the all time NFL leader in passing yards and TDs when he hung em up. No QB has started 8+ games in 5+ seasons for them since. The success they've had at QB other than Culpepper for the last 45 years has been free agent veterans nearing or at the end of their careers. The few big swings they've taken in the draft have whiffed. The quickest way to success in this league is to have a great young QB on a rookie contract and load up everywhere else. At least for teams without Mahomes or Brady. The Vikes have some excellent foundational pieces on offense at TE, WR, and OL. The defense, especially the backfield, needs an overhaul, but Flores is a mastermind. JJ should bring a minimum of 2 firsts and a handful of other considerations for restocking the roster. They're currently set to have a huge amount of cap room in 2025. No way they'd trade JJ to Chicago. But they don't need to get to number 1, only high enough to get the guy they like. It sounds like they're infatuated with McCarthy, but that might be subterfuge. My money is on him or Maye, whichever one they can maneuver into taking. Hopefully they make the right choices.
