Your first point is absolutely true. The Democratic reaction to Trump's border policies were in many cases knee jerk, "Trump supports it, therefore we cannot" sorts of reactions that ultimately prevented real solutions from being enacted. Your second statement is untrue and counterproductive. I really hope that all the jagoffs that say similar things don't really believe that, and are just participating in partisan mudslinging. And I mean that for those in every location along the political spectrum.

Do we know what books she's torching? Only in the Trump era could someone running for public office think that a TV ad where she imitates totalitarian behavior be seen as a positive.

Is it possible that perhaps judges and attorneys working on these issues across the country MIGHT know a bit more about contextualization and implementation of the law than those of us speculating and arguing about it? Republicans always tout themselves as the RULE OF LAW party. What we're seeing now is the rule of law in action. Just because some don't like it doesn't mean it's not legal and appropriate. Our opinions don't mean shlt. The law professionals know more than us. If we are to be a nation of laws, you can't toss them aside because you don't like the outcome. This is a disturbing development amongst the MAGA crowd, who will immediately blame ANYONE other than Trump for all the legal troubles he has. It will lead to violence.

You're a perfect example of the distorted reality you choose to inhabit. How many times do you have to be told why many of us "support" Biden before it actually sinks in? Just because you're gung-ho for every stupid thing Trump does, says, or proposes doesn't mean regular people feel the same about who they vote for.

IDGAF who Tucker interviews. I have zero problems with it. I'll likely watch it for entertainment purposes only. I expect it to be pure propaganda, because it's Tucker. I do not think he should be sanctioned or suffer any sort of punishment for the interview. Just pointing out how insipid it is to fawn over this as if it's some kind of journalistic coup that he got the interview.

No western reporters have been granted access to Putin for an interview. Carlson is the first. Tucker loves to just ask questions, so why don't we all ask ourselves why Tucker is the first and only individual (NOT journalist) to have been granted access? Putin looooves himself some Tucker. Why? I'll save those of you that have a tough time being honest with yourselves the time: Tucker is the most pro-Russian western media personality. Russian "media" have literally been given a mandate to have Carlson featured in the news, due to his incessant defense of Putin and his regime. Tucker calling himself a journalist runs directly counter to what he and Fox News have claimed UNDER OATH in court: he's NOT a journo. He's a talking head spewing opinions that warps information to fit his narrative. For his sake, I hope the Kremlin is paying him for it. Or maybe it's more of a quid pro quo arrangement...

We come from the same era, and I was a huge fan of all those, except maybe Ratt. Still love Maiden and VH. Believe it or not, there are some great newer rock bands out there.
