To each their own. I basically hate watched the last couple seasons to see what happened at the end, which was actually satisfying. SOA was a better show. But after the 2nd season, it nosedive before somewhat redeeming itself in the final season. But the plots of both shows were convoluted and almost nonsensical at times. IMHO, of course. Moral of the story is that everything Walton Goggins appears in is worth watching, at least for a while. Like Justified, which I loved beginning to end.

Did you ever watch the documentary series Stone did on Netflix? Titled something like "The hidden history of the US." It was really good, but the way he slobbering praise all over Russia throughout was... odd. As for your first statement, GTFO. NPR reports a TON of news, most of it straight journalism, with some opinion stuff. Tucker is all opinion all the time, which is why he got shitcanned at Fox. His opinions just happened to be slanderous. Also, Fox AND Carlson BOTH admit that he's not a journalist IN COURT.

Like all of the shows Kurt Sutter has had a hand in running (Sons of Anarchy comes to mind), it started great and then slowly lost quality as the stories become more convoluted and repetitive. I did enjoy the last few episodes, but the season+ preceding it were tough to get through.

The complete lack of will to negotiate or compromise is a fun feature of the Trumpians. This mindset will only cause further division, unrest, and violence. Thanks? No, I don't think anything about the border situation is good. But it's not an issue I personally feel very strongly about, so I don't talk about it much. I live in the great white north, after all. The immigrants I see trend much more toward African than Central or South American.

This. Even if none of the trials have verdicts before then, plenty of new information will come to light that will turn off a lot of independent voters. If he is found guilty of anything prior to the election, he's likely done. SCOTUS could rule that the states in which Trump was removed from the ballot did it lawfully. I'd be shocked if they did, but that would be an epic game changer. None of this will matter to the born again MAGAMOOKS, who will likely perpetrate violence regardless of what else happens. That will serve as a nice reminder to normal citizens that this guy and his supporters are not friends to democracy and the rule of law, further tipping the scales to Biden.

Well, if historical form holds, he'll do his best to do something, but in actuality it won't matter because the GOP will never let him have what can be perceived as a political win in an election year. Details and reality of circumstances don't matter. At all.
