6 months ago, I'd have agreed with you and Tim about this statement. I am no longer convinced. Netanyahu, much like Trump, needs to stay in power to avoid a potential prison stint and also has anti-Muslim hard-liners within his government in his ear and on his right flank. I question whether he will act benevolently even if Iran surrenders.

Based on what little I've learned about this, the illegals acquire legitimate SS#'s in most cases. Some of it is probably identity fraud by some hacker who then sells the numbers for use. Some of the numbers belong to deceased Americans. Some coyotes furnish SS#'s to those that pay them to get across the border.

Pretty good list, and I'm mostly in agreement. I'll nitpick #4, though. While I agree it should not be enforceable, refusing to use someone's preferred pronouns is just a dik move. Forgetting to call them by their preferred pronoun isn't quite as bad, but it's still shitty. I have a friend that's trans, and we told her that calling her a her was an insane expectation since we've known her as a him for almost 30 years. She agreed it was okay for us to say him/he/his, given how long we've known each other. But I've also accidentally called a subordinate at work he instead of she, and while she was cool about it, I felt pretty bad about it. Moral of the story is just treat others with respect, even if you think their life choices are insane.
