I don't argue with SID. He brings receipts nobody else does, stays respectful, asks uncomfortable questions that regularly piss you guys off to the point where you treat him like crap despite how respectful he is, and I agree with most of what he says. Yeah, not buying this. A quick google confirms: 91% of his appointment nominees in the first 200 days of this term were white. Of 24 cabinet appointments, only four were non-white. 88% of confirmed senior employees were male, only 12% female. This represents the lowest share of women among confirmed nominees compared to the previous four administrations. The women he does nominate are either big money donors (Linda McMahon) or traditionally attractive (pretty much all of them other than his COS, Susie Wiles). I'm sure this won't change your opinion but felt it should be shared.

Thanks for this; it makes complete sense to me. There are no standards for Don's endorsements, only loyalty and transactional convenience. What you consider the America First agenda is to me a fabrication of the current admin and the right wing media ecosphere to keep folks voting for the Don. The real goals are clear: nothing more than delivering Don whatever he wants. And all he wants is to feed his ego, make more money, and have everyone treat him like hot shlt. He's all flash, no substance. He wants all of the trappings and rewards, but none of the responsibility or work. He's basically the local pub's most reviled customer: lazy, dumb, complacent, borderline useless and lacking any discernable skills, noisy and completely insufferable in person. This is a dumb argument from both sides. You're too hung up on distances from your own perspective. For years I lived in a very remote, mountainous area of NorCal. The closest GENERAL store was 6 miles away from my home. The vast majority of the customers lived further than that. If you didn't have a functioning vehicle, you were SOL. The clinic I worked for did outreach, and I hauled a van of folks 1.5 hours to the nearest SUPERMARKETS. To a person, they were all on food assistance and did not have a vehicle reliable enough to consistently make those trips. This was an overwhelmingly white, poor, conservative populace. Without the clinic and our outreach, they would have struggled to eat. Most rural Americans live significantly further from a grocery store than one mile. If they're on food assistance, they likely aren't driving reliable late model vehicles. Easy math.

Now THAT is not true. I'm not going to go looking for posts, but my philosophy here is to treat others with respect unless they can't do it back. In the small chance that I went after you first, then I probably did it because you were being petty toward others, just not me, and I took umbrage. If that's the case, I apologize.

I clearly said I was sorry about your skills, because you claimed, incorrectly, that: I assumed that meant you had reading or memory issues, as anyone that bothers to read what I post knows very well that my posts go deeper than that.
