The feds were ordered to not deport him; they did anyway. He was ordered back by a lower court, and the order was disregarded. Now SCOTUS has weighed in. We'll see what the admin does next. Theoretically it isn't a stretch IN THE LEAST to watch this unfold and realize how easy it would be for Trump to do this to legitimate American citizens. I'm not claiming he will, but you sure cannot guarantee me that he has no intention of doing so.

I will say this: people across the American spectrum are way too easily offended. And worse, they act as though being offended is some kind of horrific experience and that everyone offending them must pay an outsized penalty for it. That's part of it, sure. Unlike many here I don't pretend I'm a macroeconomics expert. But even my layman's eyes are telling me it's about more than laziness and entitlement. There are elements of cultural and generational shift, business and labor relations, distrust of longstanding institutions, the historic wealth gap, the list goes on forever. Sadly our current leadership is grossly incompetent and will almost certainly make all of it worse.
